Denzel was surprised to know that Lena has already left work without waiting for him like she normally does. He need not be told that his wife was angry with him.

Ever since Lena left his office earlier after throwing Harley out, she has been avoiding Denzel like he was a plague. She would come into his office, do what she came to do, and leave without even sparing him a glance. Her cold behavior toward him was making Denzel worry.
