Eleanor's p.o.v "Put more strength into your fist Eleanor and your legs shouldn't be that wide apart!" Clair instructed loudly from afar as the ladies giggled softly. The kind Clair who seemed friendly and talkative was no longer present, she was replaced by a cold, serious, scary Clair. She wanted no imperfections and every time I made a mistake she gave me the death glare. Most ladies were unbothered by that but I was. "I'm doing my best," I muttered under my breath. I was feeling tired and thirsty, my muscles were aching because it had been so long since I had practiced. For two hours we had been training non-stop and the ladies were sweating badly. Unlike them, I was skilled with a weapon, not in arm-to-arm combat that's why I was struggling. "Here Eleanor." The lady opposite me who was my training opponent whispered then leaned forward and touched my thigh. "This leg should move slightly forward while the other one backward." She instructed. "Thank you," I whispered bac
Eleanor's p.o.v I watched seriously as Clair ran towards him with her sword raised high, when she reached where he was she struck, but Ducan moved at a quick pace standing behind her and hitting her back with the back of his sword. She stumbled but balanced and turned to look at him. "Again." He called out. She ran towards him and swung her sword at him. I widened my eyes in shock when he missed the sword by leaning backward. She raised the sword in a fast motion and swung it at him again immediately after he had stood upright. Ducan raised his sword in an instant, meeting hers. She glared at him then raised her sword again and thrust her hand forward. Ducan turned to his right in a quick motion and pointed the tip of his sword at her heart. "You would be dead right now." He said loudly. "Talk less." She screamed with a heavy breath then attacked him by jumping in mid air with a loud scream. Ducan raised his sword and it collided with hers. She landed on the ground and threw
Zara's p.o.v "No, that's impossible!" She exclaimed. I understood her reaction because no one in their right mind would easily accept it when I was ten years older than they had left me months ago. "It's me, Eleanor, you can ask me any question and I will truthfully answer," I said seriously. "You are not my brother and I won't stand here and have you manipulate me. Ducan, I don't want to be here." She said strongly as the demon king smirked. A minute ago he looked like he was getting upset, but now he was enjoying her denial. He wanted her to reject me, I could see it in his eyes. "Ancient witch, you heard my wife. She no longer wants to be here, so we will take our leave." He said, then linked his hand to hers. "Let's go, my heart." He whispered as I glared at him. "You hate the color pink and love the color black. You like singing while collecting herbs, and you are bad at acting. You rarely react whenever mother slaps you because you are rather used to her outbursts and tan
Victor's p.o.v I was silently counting numbers knowing today was the day I was going to be given food. I had no idea who or what brought me food and water in my cell. All I knew was that they had a kind heart because if a demon was in my position in the human territory they could have been slaughtered by now. If by chance they were still alive they would have been starved to death. But that wasn't my case. Everyday food appeared in my cell once a day with a glass of water. At first, I refused to eat thinking it was poisonous, but as days went on it became clear to me, either way, I was going to die, so I might as well try to eat. The food I was given looked rather disturbing because it was sticky soup mixed with a piece of bread, but once it was in my mouth it tasted a lot better. I quickly finished eating and drinking water with only one thing on my mind, my death. The whole night I waited for my death, but surprisingly I survived. When the food was brought in the next day I ate an
Ducan's p.o.v "Can I join you?' I asked Eleanor softly. She was bathing in the pool with her back towards me while I sat on the bed watching. "I swear I won't do a thing, I'll just look," I said then frowned and stood up when I felt someone's presence in the room. "You can bathe immediately after I finish." She answered. "Yeah, that sounds awesome," I said then looked around. "Whoever you are, meet me in the throne room right now," I whispered seriously. "What?" She asked. "Nothing my heart, I just want to step out for a few minutes. I will be back." I answered, then went out and walked to the throne room. Immediately I entered I found the two demon fairies standing near the throne. I went to my throne and sat down looking at them seriously. "What is so important that you had to come into my chamber without being summoned?" I asked. "Master." They called together and then gave a bow. "Speak! What is so important, is it the female warriors, did something happen to them?. Is
Eleanor's p.o.v"So I have to shed tears of joy on the map?" I asked for the second time."Yes. That's the only way to pinpoint where the sword is." He answered.I kept quiet thinking of all the sad times I cried in demon territory."Eleanor." He called softly as I blinked back the forming tears."I have a lot of bad memories here," I whispered, honestly."I know, that's why I won't ask you to do it by force. Even without the sword, we will do our best to fight back." He said softly then smiled."Okay," I murmured. He linked his hand to mine and inhaled deeply. We immediately disappeared and appeared in our bedchamber."I'll take a bath, you can just sit there and wait for me." He said then began disrobing himself."I want to, but I have to talk to Clair about something." I lied."Alright then, you can go. Just don't take long to return." He said then walked to the pool naked.I swallowed hard and turned walking out of the room.I wasn't going to sit down and keep on admiring or lusti
Victor's p.o.v I was in shock as I walked through the passage without chains on my wrist. I looked at the twin demon fairies and then focused ahead. I had chased them away when I asked them not to watch me as I ate, that's what I thought. When they came back I was surprised. "Did you forget something?" That's what I asked them once they were in front of me. They silently removed my chains with their magic and asked me to follow them. My heart was rapidly beating, but I wasn't scared of them at all because if I was going to be killed, they didn't need to get rid of my chains. They were either taking me to face the demon king to answer for what I had done to one of his warriors, or they were taking me amid the generals or council if they had any, so I could be given proper punishment. When we reached two large doors, they instantly opened by themselves. The twins moved forward while I stood still looking carefully ahead. There was a passage and a turn in front of us. Besides that
Ducan's p.o.v I was looking at the map seriously and somehow in shock. I couldn't believe that she had managed to make everything visible. Not only that, I could see where the sword was, and it was in a territory that wasn't far from my own. "Serve me," I commanded seriously. One of the twin demon fairies appeared in front of us and bowed. I looked at her from head to toe then looked around. "Ducan, what are you looking for?" Eleanor asked softly beside me. I was looking for the other demon fairy because they were rarely separated. "Nothing," I answered, then looked back at the fairy. "Summon the generals and the ancient witch right away," I ordered. She bowed and then disappeared. I moved and rolled the scroll happily. Now that I knew where the sword was, what was left to do was to retrieve it. I pressed my free hand on Eleanor's with a smile. "Thank you, my heart," I whispered softly. "It was nothing." She whispered back. "It's not nothing when it means a lot to me and m
