CHAPTER 6

GABRIEL

Some say that angels walk the Earth...I have never believed in that saying until I laid my eyes on Bella. The pic Arianna has of her does not do her justice. She has a naturally beautiful face giving off an almost angelic glow, yet I couldn't quite read her even when staring into her stunning dark brown eyes. I am normally very good at reading people and figuring them out without even having to speak to them. It's a good trait to have in my line of work. At first glance, I could see a mixture of sadness, pain, and fear in her eyes, but it changed quickly when she spoke, to a forced happier look. She was dressed in a lilac tank top, which complimented her perfectly shaped breasts and white skinny legged jeans. Though simple, her outfit of choice showed off her sexy body shape and curves in all the right places. I couldn't wait to run my fingers through her silky long black hair, which fell down in waves and rested just above her cute ass. Her vanilla scent and sweet, seductive voice was driving me even more crazy and my big boy down there was shamelessly misbehaving. I am a master at keeping a straight face even in the most awkward situations, and that is what probably helped not give away my discomfort with the growing bulge threatening to bust through my pants. I'm guessing I'm going to be taking a lot of cold showers until Bella agrees to be MINE. She is already Mine, she just doesn't know it yet! She got my big boy up and alert, wanting to so badly be inside of her just on our first brief meeting! This woman is going to be the death of me! Arianna had filled me in on just about everything she knew about my Bella, and I have to admit that I also did my own research and found out about the horrific life she led back in her hometown! Her mother didn't even bother trying to look for them after they had left. Perhaps she did, but not through the official channels. No missing persons reports were even filed at the police station in their hometown. Crazy much, but yes, I even looked up the meaning of her name, I just pretended I didn't know. Unlike any other woman, she makes me feel all nervous and weird on the inside. I am not sure if I was trying to score brownie points or something, but I blurted out the meaning of her name. She probably thought I was some weird, nerdy geek! When I touched her, the spark that ran through my body was phenomenal, and I know she felt it, too. There's no reason to question it, She belongs to me, and I will do whatever it takes to convince her of this.

After a restless night and barely enough sleep, I decided to have another cold shower and get ready to tackle the day. It wasn't easy trying to fall asleep knowing my Bella was under the same roof as me, and thoughts of what I wanted to do to her kept taking over my mind and affected my big boy badly. I was going to go meet up with Uncle Joe and Aunt Brie to discuss the plans for the mall, and I also wanted to look at some houses that are up for sale. Last night all sorts of stuff played on my mind, and I decided that if I want to win my Bella over, I must stick around and if it meant getting a place in town then so be it. With the way technology has evolved, I can work from just about anywhere in the world and would visit our main office in the city if I absolutely have to. But that's my secret for now, no one needs to know my plans just yet. As I came downstairs, the smell of freshly made coffee filled the air. I could hear conversations flowing and laughter. What a fantastic way to start a day. "Gabe, you're here! Thought you left already, workaholic! Go grab some coffee from the beverage station and come meet us at the dining area, I'll get you some breakfast," I greeted everyone as I walked towards the area Arianna directed me to. Not exactly what I am used to, but this change of scenery and warm atmosphere feels good. No wonder Arianna always looks forward to coming back here. She loves taking the bus down here, and no matter how hard we try to convince her to take one of our cars and get one of our drivers to drive her, she refuses. She says she enjoys the bus trips, and it's just part of escaping our crazy world. Yes! Says the princess who indulges in the finer things our crazy world has to offer. I sneaked a peak at my Bella without making it too obvious. I can't rush this. How could anyone look soooooo good this early in the day. She has on black shorts, which rested a bit above her knees, exposing her perfectly toned legs and a fitted pink tee. Her hair was tied up in a tight pony. Even though it looked good on her, I prefer her hair left open and falling freely on her back. I was taking every bit of her in when Jacob came up to me and asked if I was okay. He had a mischievous look on his face. "I'm good, bud, and how are you doing?" I responded to him. He said he was good and then turned to look at my Bella and then back at me with a smile plastered on his face. "Gabriel, do you play basketball?" He asked me, and I told him that I did. His face lit up and he then said, "I know you're probably pretty busy with your work and stuff, but do you think you'd be able to find some time to shoot some hoops with me?" I couldn't bring myself to disappoint him especially after he looked so excited to hear I play basketball so I told him that I would definitely make time for him, and he smiled from ear to ear and then said "I can't wait! Thank you so much”. "Aren't you supposed to be getting ready for school?" He shook his head and then told me that they were on school break. My conversation with Jacob was interrupted by a loud "WHAT THE F**K! CAMERON JONES WAS THE SURPRISE YOU WERE ON ABOUT?!"
