Chapter nine

Damon recognized Rosa the moment he saw her, she was still as beautiful as ever. Though she had bags under her eyes like she had not slept for days, she still exuded the same sexiness as she had that night.

“Stop.” It was all he said to the driver, who seemed confused and waited for the car to come to a stop before he stepped out.

“Rosalina?” It came out more as a question, she looked tired now that he was closer and could see her in. “What are you doing here?”

“I needed to see you urgently, it's important,” Rosa said, for some weird reason, she could not hold his gaze.

“Are you alright?” Damon asked concerned.

“I don't know how else to say this, Damon, but I'm pregnant,” Rosa said the pause that followed was loud, too loud. A look of confusion crossed his face but was soon replaced by shock and then confused again.

“Okay, uhm...pregnancy is quite normal Rosa, what do you need? Some help? Money? Who's the father? Have you talked to him about it?” He asked in one breath.
