The next day was a Saturday, weekend, and Rosa knew exactly where to find him…In his penthouse, she remembered he had mentioned how he liked staying indoors during the weekend.

As she got ready in front of the mirror, all Rosa could think was how she would not give him the satisfaction of disrespecting her and indirectly labeling her a gold digger, which she kind of was but still.

“You know you don't have to do this, right?” Storm, who had been watching her all along, asked.

“Why not?” Rosa asked a questioning look on her face, sometimes it was hard for her to understand her best friend.

“The money he sent last night, Rosa, that was a lot,” Storm said emphasizing the last part of that sentence.

“So?” Rosa asked indignantly, not seeming to see or understand what her friend was seeing.

“So? It's enough to take care of you and the unborn baby, heck, you can just get rid of it like you initially wanted to and make good with that amount.” Storm advised.
