It was Wednesday morning, it was a sunny morning, Axel woke up very early as usual, he showered, got dressed in the black suit he had chosen for that morning with the wine-colored tie, after being ready, he went down to have breakfast as was his custom before going to the office, he took his briefcase and left that house, he got into his car thinking that it would be a long and tiring day again, since the afternoon before he had fired his new secretary, the reason for the dismissal for anyone was simple and perhaps unimportant, but for him it was not, she had thrown her pen that afternoon, she had bent down in front of him while her bust came out that filled his patience, because he knew that she had done it on purpose, he had already been with her for 10 at that point he was tired of choosing, he sighed with a little annoyance, since it was not that he disliked this type of actions, he simply knew that work came first and that after the death of his father he had a great responsibility with the company that he had founded.

"Am I not exaggerating in firing them just for a little bit of daring?"

He continued on his way to the family business, parked his car in the usual place; when he got out of it, he saw the time on his beautiful watch where it marked 7:40 in the morning, he went up the stairs, since the elevator was broken, and looked at several girls waiting to do interviews. Axel cordially greeted the secretary who was helping him receive the resumes, but who belonged to another area, more specifically to human resources, he entered his office and began with the interviews, all the girls were the same, they only wanted to be alone with him, or try to have a personal conversation with him, they distracted his interest with a work conversation without knowing that this was the reason for the dismissal of the previous secretaries who only sought to get close to him because of his position and that bothered him, since many did not fulfill the tasks of the position, he only wanted to be calm and work; It bothered him even more that they were so obvious and didn't wait long enough to show their intentions. He only wanted someone who really wanted to work. He was tired of practically doing his secretary's work. Miss Gonzalez came in. When he saw her come in, he immediately noticed that she was a very beautiful woman. She was wearing a black miniskirt that showed off her long legs, but when she started talking and trying to start a conversation where her high ego came to light, Axel quickly thought that she was just like everyone else.

—Miss Gonzalez, tell me, what are you looking for in this job?

He looked at the girl in front of him.

—Honestly, I'll be frank with you... Get to know you. I think you're a very interesting man, very handsome; of course it would also be interesting to work for you.

She answered without hesitation, knowing that she was beautiful and brought many men to their feet and that, if she wanted to, he could also be behind her with just a snap or a simple smile.

He sighed tiredly. Even though she was very frank and he liked that in people and especially in women, he was fed up with this situation. She got up from her seat with a determined look, approached the desk and sat in front of him. She stared into those penetrating brown eyes of his. He looked away, but continued facing her. After a few minutes, she approached him without a hint of shyness. She looked for him to give her a kiss. He didn't make any move, so she proceeded to take the initiative and kissed him.

He was surprised; those lips were very pretty, but when they were in contact with his, Axel felt absolutely nothing, so he separated immediately.

—If you hire me, you will have more of that and of course I will do everything you ask me, of course, I am talking about work.

She smiled with a touch of flirtation.

—Well, thank you, I will take it into consideration. Thank you very much for your request. You may leave.

—Yes, sir.

He answered thinking that he had won the risk he took.

The girl left the office; he was really upset already; he called the secretary and asked who was next.

—Miss Torres, sir.

—Please let her in and bring me her resume.

—Yes, sir.

He turned his back, looking towards the window, waiting for calm to come because of how upset he was. He heard the door open and, before the girl behind him said anything, she ordered him to sit down. He sighed and when he turned around he saw that woman with her long, light brown hair; She had thick lips and brown eyes, but he noticed that her eyes were slightly swollen. He looked at her resume that the secretary had previously left on her desk and he didn't understand why the girl in front of him was looking for a job if she had no work experience…

"First, girls who don't want to work and now, an incompetent one?"

He was thinking with his anger that was still in force.

He began to tell her everything he thought without a bit of delicacy, suddenly this girl stood up looking at him with fire in her eyes, she began to tell him things that no one in his life had told him or rather people in the position of that woman did not dare to tell him, he wanted to put this woman back in her place, but she did not let him, she had a somewhat strong character, he was surprised by everything she said to him, she angrily said goodbye and turned around, he thought that she was the only one who had told him that she wanted to work and in the end it did not matter who he hired, he would probably fire her just like the others, it was just a matter of time, besides he was tired of the interviews that day, and he was behind in his schedule, so he did not think about it anymore, when he told her that he would wait for her in the morning she stood there before him, he managed to see in that look a bit of happiness, she said goodbye and left the room.

Axel sighed.

—What have I gotten myself into?

I hope she knows how to work and doesn't cause any trouble.

He said, somewhat seriously, with a tone of concern, but he quickly tried to dispel it when he thought that once again he was exaggerating.

He returned to the window, looked outside as he usually did, and saw that girl crossing the street and looked at his watch. A tired sigh came out of him.

And there was Axel, sitting on a bench again with an ice cream cone in his hand, wondering how he'd ended up in this situation."I really couldn't refuse when she smiled and gave me the ice cream."Axel thought, sighing. He turned to see Alicia, and she was eating her ice cream with her cheeks flushed, her gaze lost in the bushes."What did I just do? Why did I take his hand? Does he think I'm being forward? I was so excited about the ice cream that I didn't think twice, and..." "Now what do I say?"Alicia turned to look at him only to meet his gaze and a slight smile that gave her goosebumps. He had looked very well that day; she had always seen him in a suit, and today he seemed more relaxed."Don't you like ice cream? Excuse me, I didn't ask you if you liked it, I just gave it to you.""Don't worry, I like it, it's delicious, it's just that I don't get used to eating sweet things very often.""Oh!"Alicia replied, looking away from Axel. They were both silent while they ate the ice

Axel was sitting on a bench in the park right next to the hotel; he remembered that when he entered his room he lay down on the bed. He felt a little tired; he had wanted to sleep during the trip, which he had managed, but only for a few hours, as he woke up to the sound of small snores next to him."How can a girl snore like that? Maybe she was very tired."Then she took a pair of pants and a polo shirt, took a shower and decided to go for a walk, finding that park where she sat down to watch the birds and the people who were there.Axel sighed and, turning his gaze, he saw that woman in a white dress with pink flowers and pink sandals just like those flowers; she was really short. Her waist-length brown hair followed her with her gaze. She walked looking around. She noticed that an old man accompanied by a little girl approached her and he offered her something, to which she shook her head. The little girl pulled the old man's pants hiding between his legs. Alicia smiled and then no

Axel was sitting at the airport, waiting for Alicia. He looked at his watch, it read 1:15 in the morning. He sighed a little tiredly.“Didn’t you tell me that we would meet here at 1:00?”In the distance he saw Alicia with her suitcase, she looked hurried. She approached him a little agitated, bent down, putting her hands on her knees, trying to catch her breath. Axel was hoping for that.“Excuse me, boss, I’m sorry for being late. I was doing well, I even left early to be here at 12:00, but the taxi crashed into another car and by the time the insurance and my statement arrived, time was gone. I was barely able to get out of the situation, I had to explain to the police that I had a flight.”Axel got up from his seat, a little worried about what Alicia had said about a crash. He quickly looked her over from head to toe, looking for any bruises. He didn't dare touch her, so he just did it with his eyes.—But are you okay?—Yes, I'm okay, the accident wasn't serious, but I had to take

Alicia got up earlier than usual, as she wanted to have her suitcase packed for the trip to Miami. She was excited about the trip. Since she married Gabriel, she hadn't traveled anymore, as there was always a new excuse not to take her on his trips. Once she had packed everything in her suitcase, she went to the company.— Good morning, Laura. She greeted the receptionist at the entrance. In his first month, Luis had been in charge of introducing all the workers and had started friendships with many of them.— Good morning, Alicia.Laura responded with a smile.—How are you?— Very well, has the boss arrived yet?— Yes, he just arrived.— Ah, ok, thanks, then I better go up.Alicia arrived at her desk, saw several papers and one of them was the contract for the secretary who would be substitute in her position. Axel had to sign it. So Alicia took it and knocked on the office door.—Come in!It was heard from inside the office. Alicia entered and went to Axel's desk, where he was sitti

It had been three months since Alicia had signed the divorce with Gabriel. She had not seen Gabriel in all that time, even though they had already arranged things with Abril. They had agreed that he would have her on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays and she would have the remaining days. On Thursdays and Fridays, her mother-in-law would go to school for her and Alicia would pick her up after work. On Saturdays, Alicia left earlier; on Sundays she had Sundays off, so she could spend the whole morning and afternoon with Abril before dropping her off at Celeste's house.Gabriel, whenever he picked up the girl, never got out of the car. Alicia only looked at him through the car window. He didn't look at her; it was as if he didn't want to face her. In those three months, she only saw him once, which was for the divorce, and on two occasions she had spoken to him on the phone just to hear the same litany of why he left her. It seemed that he enjoyed seeing her suffer; She really didn't und

Alicia looked at her watch and walked to the bus stop. After waiting a while for the bus to arrive, she got on, went straight to her mother-in-law's house and, when she arrived, knocked on the door. Her mother-in-law opened it smiling at her when she saw it was her.—Daughter! Come in.—Mom, how are you?Alicia hugged Celeste effusively.—Okay, daughter, but you don't look well, you look a little pale. Aren't you sleeping well? Are you eating, right, daughter?—Yes, mom, I'm sleeping and I'm eating, don't worry. At that moment, tears sprang from her eyes, she couldn't hold them back, she hated to continue crying, but she couldn't stop. The pain always overwhelmed her will.—Daughter, don't cry, you break my heart. That son of mine will see that she comes now. How is it possible that I make those beautiful eyes cry? I can't allow it. I'm going to talk to him; he's going to have to explain to me what's going on.—No, mom, don't worry, don't tell him anything, he made his decision. I'm n
