Chapter 5: She Took Him Home

Spent the night together.

Is he mad or something? Clara thought if only he knew what she had been through in the hands of a man he wouldn't even raise a voice at her.

"How could she leave just like that, how could she do that to me" she heard him cry for the first time she was moved by his word and sobs she wanted to run to him and console him but Nah he is no different they are all the same. 

"Just finish up and get the f*ck out of here," she said before walking out of his presence.

If only Clara knew who she was talking to she wouldn't act in such a way towards him but of course, she doesn't know anything about the popular young billionaire in Bryxton City that everyone knows about.

Alexander brew furrowed in surprise as he gave Clara a stern look she was different, everything about her is different at first he thought she was just pretending not to recognize him but now it dwell on her that she didn't know anything about him she is the first girl that didn't jump at him or crush on him after seeing him.

"What the hell are you still doing here!" she eyed him "please you have to leave I am about to close" she moved towards him and helped him to stand on his feet.

"You look so much like her" Alexander tilted his head to the side as he stared at Clara.

"Huh, what are you talking about? you are drunk" Clara holds him on the waist with his hand wrapped around her shoulder for support.

"I need to take you to your car so I can go my way" she helps him to his car, closing the door behind him while Alex keeps saying some fussy words that she can't even understand. She doesn't know this guy and there is no way she looks like someone he knew they haven't met before.

Clara locked the restaurant and when she turned around to leave she was surprised to see Alexander outside the car, his head placed on the car and he kept saying some words that she can't even understand.

She cursed under her breath before walking back to him.

"I can't just leave you here and you are f*cking too drunk to drive yourself home" she mumbled.

"Why, why did you leave me, why did you cheat on me" she heard him say she paused for a while watching him closely she could read the pain and worry in his eyes something in her told her that this man is passing through a lot.

Alexander placed his head on her shoulder as he continued sniffing her breath like there is something sweet about it.

"Seat here" Clara helps him to sit inside his car "Now give me your phone" she leans closer to him trying to remove his phone from his pocket when suddenly Alex holds her on her waist and pulls her to himself their face an inch away from each other.

She froze for a moment, as they stared into each other's eyes for some seconds she was lost in his green eyeball and she could feel some sensation and electric waves flow around her body bringing out a foreign feeling that she never knew existed.

"The same eyes, the same nose, the same hair" Alexander whispered as he narrowed his eyes, staring at Clara, his hold on her waist still very firm.

"What are you talking about you are too drunk just let me go" Clara quickly jumps away from his arm holding tight to his phone.

"I need to call one of your contacts to come pick you up," she said but to her greatest surprise, his phone was off. "Argh," she screamed, hitting her foot on the floor angrily as she stared at him. She directed her attention to the drunk guy before her. He looks so funny and beautiful whenever he smiles.

"I have to start going home now. I need to make arrangements for the arrival of my daughter. Maybe you should just sleep in your car until daybreak. There is nothing I can do at this point" she helped him to sit well. She was about to close the car door when suddenly he grabbed her on her arm.

"Please don't leave me" he stares at her with that cute face of his and his golden boy eyes.

"What! I can't stay here with you I have to go" she raised her brow in disagreement as she stared at his tight grip on her arm she tried to pull her arm out of his grip but it was tight even in his drunk state he seems stronger than her.

"Don't leave me too" was the last word that Alex said before his head fell on her arm which he was holding. Slowly she uses her hand to raise his head and she sees that he is already asleep. leaving himself at her mercy.

"What the f*ck how could you fall asleep shit" she hissed loudly as she checked from her left to right and all the street is getting quiet no one is passing she needs to leave now.

Without saying any more words she helped him to sit in the car properly while she sat down in the driver's seat.

He is drunk and asleep so the only place she could take him to was her house.

Clara paused for a while as she stared at the man before her. He looks very young and at the same time wealthy. She had barely known him for two hours and it was like she had seen him before. It looked like they had known each other before.

She stares at him as his long beautiful lashes cover his eyes. He looks cute when he is even asleep and his looks can make one lost in his world if you stare too much into it.

He was, well, different from all others. He was handsome, not perhaps in the conventional sense, but he had that appearance that could make him stand out in the crowd. He was fair, almost pale white. His beautiful, golden-green eyes contrasted exceptionally with his light-toned face. His eyes were as deep and expressive, as you could get lost if you stare long enough. His face had that faraway look in it, which cannot be described in words. He looked like a man who is going through a lot and something in her felt like she should break into his world and get to know what it is.

But how will she do that when she is already broken beyond repair leaving her in the hands of fate to come take her in the next few months.

Her tummy make a rumbling sound and her hands clutch tight to the steering when she remembered that she has few months to spend on earth few months to say goodbye to everything she loved 

Just a few months to say goodbye to her precious daughter.

      The Next Morning

Alexander's eyes flickered open as he took a look at his surroundings; a white ceiling welcomed his eyes to the morning dew instead of his normal golden ceiling and golden walls.

"Where am I?" he whispered as he quickly sat upright on the soft bed but it was not as high as the one in his mansion he moved his head to the side and his eyes landed on a pretty woman lying peacefully beside him her blond hair cover some part of her face which make her look even cute.

He looked down below him and he noticed that their hands were both entangled on each other's own. He was very shocked beyond explanation seeing how tightly their hands are held together. One thing he so much hates doing is shaking hands, holding hands, or having his hand held tight to someone's own but it was very shocking to see him holding hands with her.

He narrowed his head to the side as he tried to remember what happened last night. A serious headache hit him as he remembered his last word to her "stay" before holding her on her waist and he pulled her to the bed which explains the reason why they slept together on the same bed.

He didn't even know her name but it seems like they have known each other forever and she looks very familiar. The more Alexander stared into her pretty face the more he was tempted to move closer to her gently he pulled his hand away from hers she made some silent muffle sound before pouting her lips like a little child.

A slight smile spreads on Alex's face as he stares at her with strange emotions then he slowly moves his hand to her face removing a small strand of the hair covering her face. She looks so adorable and at peace when she is asleep. 

"What am I doing?" he whispered to himself as he paused for a while watching her "I am Alexander MacMillan Walton I don't admire girls they admire me" he blurted out and he quickly removed his eyes from her face.

Carefully he came down from the bed without causing any noise he wore his clothes took his car key and made his way towards the door then he pause and stare at her for a while before coming back to write some notes on a plain paper he dropped it beside the bed before he makes his way outside the compound and he drives out.
