Chapter 31- Attack on one of our own

Camilla’s POV

I opened my eyes as I groaned in pain, my body seemed to hurt everywhere and I could see a drip connected to my arms. A nurse came running to me as soon as she saw my eyes were opened.

“Luna?” she called out as she reached out to see if I was ok.

“What happened?” I asked as I tried to crack my brain to remember what transpired.

“Sorry, Luna you…mmmm,” the nurse said as she refused to look at me while she averted her glance from me, I could tell she looked so uncomfortable talking about it... Then it hit me, the assaults that had almost left me dead.

“How long have I been out?” I asked.

“I am sorry Luna, but it’s been four hours. The wolf's bane had knocked you out but we were able to flush it out of your body,” she mumbled and I nobbed.

I knew of the damage that can be done by a wolf bane, a poison that is toxic to a wolf. I may have only survived because of my strong blood but apart from that I can’t tell.
