“There are boys out there Kaya.” He whispered lowly, “Ones that deserve you,” he added, fingers still brushing mine, “then they are beasts,” his jaw clenched when he said this moving closer so my breath hitched, “ones that can hurt you.”

“And I don’t want to see you get hurt.”

The words echoed in my mind as I sat cross-legged on Ally's bed the book I had gotten from my confusing thief friend in my hands.  I could feel Ally’s eyes on me, watching me closely. Her mouth open from all I had just told her. I wasn’t going to allow myself to be confused all alone when I had a bestie to drown my worries in right?

I glanced up at her, "so?” I dragged, “Aren’t you going to say anything?"

She paused, lifting her jaw up as she slightly gulped, her fingers twisting around one of her braids, "I hope- he doesn't kiss your sister next?” she asked, seemingly at a complete loss of word.

My winded at her answer, "Al

What happened to training? That chapter seems unfinished? You would think the perfume washed off. And what about the dragon coming back?

Kaya's POV Honestly, I never expected much would come out of this new week, it started really dull and boring and I was sure that was the same way it would end, despite Friday being the best day of the week. I slipped out of class waiting outside the doors for Ally, leaning against the door as I watched students leave class, my eyes trailing down the hallway spying on everyone coming out of their perspective classes, whilst I hummed, then stopped when I caught a glimpse of Khloe’s shiny perfect blond hair, Mr. Jerk Face, and friend... And of course, the ever-charming Alessia as they appeared down the hallway. It had long been established by now that Khloe was part of the popular three, and was dating Azian, after all, they would hold hands and walk down the hallway like the golden couple they were. The perfect girl and the perfect boy. She sat with them every lunch, made it a point to sneak kisses on him here and there especially when s

Legions POV “Where is he?” I growled out, already feeling a nervous sweat coming on, as I run a hand through my hair, Caleb helping me throw my blazer on, “he’s waiting in the hallways,” he replied, and I turned to face him, studying his every move, knowing I would catch a lie in an instant, “and he just appeared out of the blue?” I huffed, my jaw clenching. “Yes,” Caleb replied, his eyes honest, I grunted at this, my fists clenching, “Fuck, he knows.” I trailed off keeping my fingers in my hair. “It’s too early to know for sure, your father’s informants come around every few years,” Caleb replied but I shot him down quickly, “but this isn’t a lousy informant now is it? Fathers' cards have changed, so if he sent his guardian then he must be suspicious,” I snapped. “I understand your worries, but that will not help us at the moment,” Caleb replied, “The best we can do for now is act normally, my prince.” I looked back at

Kaya's POV My fingers trembled a little, making me form a fist to keep my cool as I stood in the shadow of the large gate that towered over both Ally and me like the gates of hell themselves. I could feel Ally visibly shiver beside me causing me to side-glance her way, just to make sure she was at least braver than the way I was feeling at the moment, "this-this is where he lives?” she stuttered, sounding very unconvinced. My shaky fingers took out the piece of paper from my pocket rechecking the address, "yep,” I replied with mocking enthusiasm, “according to this, he does.” I handed the paper over to her upon her wordless request, her eyes gazing over the address once more, then glancing at the house number curved majestically on a plaque by the stones wall, sighing as she crumbled it in her fists, glancing at me momentarily, “I have a bad feeling about this." She didn’t have to tell me twice. This whole thing s

Kaya's POV "You've had enough Kaya,” Ally said as I gulped the remainder of the red grape juice I had out in a glass. I let out a satisfied ‘ah’ before sliding it over the counter back to her, "Keep em coming," I dragged, as it slid right into her grasp. She rolled her eyes, reaching out for the bottle of red grape juice pouring me another glass. We were currently back at Ally's house, and I was drinking what was left of all my sorrows away in her kitchen. It was a grace that Ally's mom and Dad had gone for their anniversary dinner so that left Ally alone for the time being and spared me curious stares from Aunt Kathy. I was not in the mood to start reliving memories I had just made an hour ago, especially not the ones of rejection that Legion had left inside me. "This is the last cup though," Ally warned, sliding the half-full glass back to me before closing the remained of the juice and locking it up in the fridge. "I wish I was dru

AZIANS POV I woke up to the sound of a gentle rattle. My eyelids fluttered open, a wave of gentleness eloped around the calmest silence I had ever experienced. The first thing I saw was her. My little human. I stared blankly at her, sleeping peacefully across me in the front seat, her chest falling and rising in the calmest motions. Her soft brown straight hair falling down the side of her face. I stared at her peaceful face, breathing slowly out, and for a moment I felt I was stuck in a place where time and space didn’t matter or make any sense. My eyes studying every inch of her face. It definitely was her, my little human from the subway, my little human from my dreams. There was no mistaking it. My gaze suddenly dropped to the light tingles dancing across my skin, my eyebrows furrowing at the sight of her hand over mine, energy flowing through them, that made my heart skip a beat, my eyes snapping up to the window at th

  • Azian (Prince of Dragons)   [36] Beasts Be Sorry

LEGIONS POV. The curtains swayed gently in the breeze as my deadly gaze focused on the scene below. The peaceful silence that was in the garden was all that soothed me, yet somehow I could feel like the overgrown hedges and the bright flowers were wilting under my gaze as if even nature itself despise me. It wasn’t that hard to believe as I was fighting a similar feeling to hate myself. That face. The look on that face. I breathed out trying to ease myself. Xeric needed soothing,He needed to be calm, calm the storm inside of us threatening to come out. Tame the beast. That was all that was racing through my mind as I kept my eyes focused on the peace and serenity below. He wanted to come out, he wanted to wreck something, and what Xeric wanted he got. Only he couldn't kill his host. I believe that’s what irritated him most. That his greatest enemy at the moment was me, and he coul

  • Azian (Prince of Dragons)   [37] Day After

Kaya’s POV Peace. Calm. I had never felt this free before as I opened my eyes and soaked in the gentle rays of the sun peeking through the light curtains of my bedroom window. It was another day, which meant another chance to live. Cheesy I know, but so often we forget about the little pleasures of life, like breathing. Suddenly bolting up in bed, my eyes widened when the memories of last night came flooding in like an unwanted dream. “Oh My Gosh, oh no, oh no, oh no,” I shook my head, my hand over my mouth. What the hell did I do last night? Who was I with? Azian? Had I actually spent a night with the AZIAN KING? No, i-I couldn’t have but yet that was the last memory lingering in my mind. I could remember everything and yet somehow I ended up understanding nothing at all. My eyes glazed over and I felt slightly dizzy, rubbing the sides of my head for sweet relief. I turned slightly when I heard the door click open, watching as Aunt

  • Azian (Prince of Dragons)   [38] No Apologies

KAYA'S POV The day flew by uneventfully. Same old. Apart from feeling Legion's annoying eyes on me during science and the usual cheerful laughter of Khloe at the Lunch high table, it was quite the same. By nightfall, I was fully exhausted. I finished up all my homework and allowed myself to finally go to sleep. Unlike yesterday I did actually sleep well. The rest of the week was the same as the Monday it started with, dull. Completely Dull. Days went by till I could finally smell the sweet air of Friday. The happiest and most spectacular day of the week. I planned so much to do this weekend. Well technically I planned to binge-watch a few shows and then follow it up with a trip to the library to brush up on the supernatural, after all, I still had to help Ally solve her mystery. It was funny, but her theories didn’t seem as farfetched as I initially thought. There were a lot of things that didn’t add up in Torent I realized but I kne

------TEASERMy eyes traveled around the dark shadows of the throne room, aware of how of the steady beat of my heart, thumping deep inside me. My hand gripping the helm of the fire sword tightly. She is here. Alpha Stated anxiously on edge, Omega spread his magic around us feeling every corner of the stone walls, and the large pillars that held up the throne room."Azian?" A familiar voice whispered, but loud enough to leave an echo, causing my eyes to strain through the darkness, my golden lenses scanning the room until it rested on the outline of a rough fallen figure covered by crossing shadows as it sat at the feet of the throne."Kaya!" I called out immediately wanting to reach her, "Don't!" She yelled back her hand stretching out into the straying moonlight, and I faltered back when I saw the dark veins whispering inside her like poison, as she immediately pulled her hand back, a slight whimper escaping her lips.Edwin's hand c

Edwin watched Azian pace up and down in the kitchen worriedly, his frame was rigid and his jaw was clenched, worry lines all over his face. He had tried to speak before but Alpha had made it clear they didn't want to talk. He was seemingly still mad at him for not telling him about Legion. "Will you stop worrying? Kaya will be alright. You know Abigail knows what she's doing right?" He asked him. He only received a growl from Alpha completely shutting him up, his fiery golden eyes daring him to say another word. Edwin looked down at the counter, holding his tongue as Azian went back to pacing but it was only a few minutes later when he spoke again, "Seriously, you're giving me a headache, stop with the pacing, try to relax. " he tried again this time instantly regretting it. "DO NOT ASK ME TO BE CALM!" Alpha barked, his eyes glowing brightly. "Okay, okay, okay," Edwin replied quickly. Alpha pausing for a second before Azians t

  • Azian (Prince of Dragons)   [96.1] Gabrielle

Lillian paced in Kaya's room watching as Anna fluffed Kaya's pillow, relaxing her in her bed, the light burn on her shoulder, glowing brightly before disappearing as the dragon snorted. The doorbell suddenly rang and Aunt Lily froze, "that's her, that's got to be her,” she said full-on panicking, "what should I tell her? She won't believe anything I say! I'm screwed!" She grunted biting her lip, "if I tell her about witches and Lycan and dragons she will know I've lost my mind! And she wouldn't be far from the truth because I feel like it-" "Relax," Anna said rubbing her shoulder, as the doorbell rang again, Liam stood up, “Let’s just tell her Kaya isn't feeling well that’s it, she doesn't need to worry herself too much, at least not now," he said walking toward Lillian, "Come on, Gabrielle’s waiting." He said before heading out the door in a calm cool and collected manner. Lillian watched him shocked for a moment before she turned back to Anna, "you

"It's official," Liam began as he walked into the house with Lillian and Ally by his side, meeting the blank stares of the witches before him. "She's gone, poof! No trace of the witch! Not even her daughter! It's like she never was, even the pictures of her are missing,” Lillian said, "Good Morning,” she added looking around at the group, her eyes falling, and voice tripping at their expression, "no sign of Kaya and Azian yet?" She asked. Ena shook her head, "two days and still nothing,” she paused glancing over at them, "and of course Stephania won't be found, I'm sure she was gone long before we thought of her. She might not even be in this realm anymore." "Realm?" Liam echoed. Abigail ignored the question standing up, "Two days and no sign of Azian or Kaya, I'm getting worried." "W-what if they never come back?" Ally said, finally voicing the one fear she was afraid of "Don't say that, they’ll come back,” Lillian snapped back gl

The air seemed dark and stale, every Lycan in the vicinity had made themselves as scarce as they could if not called upon by their King. It was a dark day and no one wanted to be in the presence of Zerth at the moment. King Damian looked down at his son, his jaw clenched at the state of him, watching as he laid there unconscious, no sign of recovery in the long run, as would have happened had it been a mere cut or a stab like before. This time his face stuck in a painful expression that even if he hadn’t as much as opened his eyes yet, King Damian could feel Xeric howl deep within Legion, the pain a tingling sensation in his ears, his fists hard and clenched tightly, unable to take his eyes off the state of his son. The Dark covers were laid above him, stopping just below his shoulders and the large curtains were drawn to shield him from the sun. No one was allowed to see the Feared Prince of Lycan in this state. King Damian feared even he was never meant to see his

KAYA'S POV I gasped out suddenly realizing I had barely been breathing through that whole ordeal, "w-what was that, Azian?" I asked slowly, my heart beating soundly. "It's our bond" he began softly, "or do you mean that it's a dragon?" He asked again a little confused obviously. I turned to him sharply, overwhelmed "what do you mean bond?!" I asked my voice rising by the minute. He raised an eyebrow as if accepting some sort of challenge, a slight smirk on the corner of his lips "Bond Kaya, You like me don't you?" He asked. I huffed out at the sudden question, before shaking my head, "Azian I don't understand any of this! None of it is making sense to me? Why did you bite me?" He rubbed my shoulder, leaning forward, his lips skimming my neck causing my heartbeat to rise, his h

I tried to adjust my breathing, blinking fast as the blurry world around me suddenly took up a better shape.Light Blue walls came to my vision, my headache clearing slowly. I blinked again as if in a haze, eyes trailing around the room. It was very large which made me think it was definitely not my room.My eyes came into contact with a shadow by the window, running out of breath for a second, the sun's rays blocking his face from view. My breathing was low as I stared at it before a figure crossed my mind and a name to match it."Azian?" I whispered, my eyes squinting to see the form.It moved only slightly, its vo

"MOTHER!" Khloe screeched super speeding up the stairs, "you won't believe- Mother?" She asked as she spotted her mother lying on the floor. Panic flooded through her as she raced toward her, black dust covering the floor her mother was lying on. "Mother?!" She repeated as she crouched beside her. She was completely motionless. ***********Stephania suddenly woke up to find herself in a chair, her eyes shooting open, her gaze landed on her daughter. "Thank heavens!" Khloe said putting down the Smokey piece of sage she had in her hand. "T-The Spell, it g-gone" Stephania said looking at Khloe "What happened to your mother?" Khloe asked as Stephania rose to her feet. Liam listened to it all like it had been a movie at the back of his mind, memories flashed back as everything was explained. He had been used, taken away from those he loved, without a second thought. But that wasn't the worst part, his daughter, his life, had been taken from him. Lilian had held his hand through it all and he was glad she did although it looked like she was this close to bursting. "He's a dragon? The boy who was dating Khloe.” He repeated trying to let it sink in. "Yes, "Abigail replied,” dragons are shifters, they have a humanoid version unless of course the cursed ones or rogues simply put" she explained noticing his confusion, “And he was only dating Khloe because he thought she was his mate. Much like you, he was also under a spell, only one much more powerful," Abigail explained to him as Lillian took a sip of her hot coffee. "And a mate is more like a soul mate?" "In the
