Chapter Thirty-Three

“I’ll send him to an asylum then take Ayah to the US,” Elio said while brushing his nose with his finger.

"Are we talking about Mr. A-Alex?" Elio's secretary Kenric asked. He was sweating profusely ever since he was listening to his boss talk about the downfall of his friend. The previous friend, it would seem.

"Does it seem like anything other than that?" Elio cocked an eyebrow at Kenric.

"Must we do that-" Before Kenric could finish Elio stood up.

"He dared touch my wife!" Elio growled. "I would rather put electric waves through his tiny brain and send him to an asylum than call him my friend."

Kenric nodded his head. He nodded at Elio and headed out of the room.

Elio was planning to bring Ayah to introduce her to her bewildering dreams. He will make her roam the world. He will make her taste life in a newly formed way. Luxury? It was dust in his hands. He will shower her with everything a woman can imagine.

He just craved the shine in her eyes and he woul

Ayah wore a white dress with a simple elegant design that had a round neck and made her look exquisite in simple clothing. That was just Ayah’s beauty. She never tried to look beautiful. It was a part of her like a blessing. She swayed her scarf to one side as she came downstairs where Elio was waiting for her. He was wearing a casual outfit and this would probably be after a long time that she is seeing him without a suit. Though casual, his charm could not be escaped. He was a devil in disguise with an extremely striking aura that never matched his disastrous monstrosity. He looked at her as she came down avoiding eye contact with him. She just looked straight ahead avoiding his presence. He smiled. “Your grace finally decided to step down, huh?” He forwarded his hands towards her which were avoided just as gracefully by her grace. She stood in front of him as he fixed his posture while straightening his shirt. He looked at her and said, “Are we ready to go?” “Will you not t

She was not out of this world yet this was new to her. Elio noticed her shock and her doe confused eyes which looked at him in confusion. He definitely wanted to do something inappropriate so much as to kiss her until she could not breathe but he held back and smiled at her. "Why do you look lost?" He asked. "The island's name– like, there is an island with my name? I did not know that." She said after thinking. He laughed. "There was never an island that had your name." He said as she looked at him with confusion. He put a piece of her hair back on her ear and cupped her cheeks. "I thought it was disrespectful to you, so I b

The towel beside the bed was wet and out Ayah’s forehead continuously as every soul in the room wished that she woke up as soon as possible. Her face showed no sign of life but she was laying down while breathing quite lively so that was a relief for all the doctors surrounding her. They were holding onto dear life hoping that this woman wakes up as soon as possible or Elio will have their heads for sure, just as he threatened. The doctors came quite hastily but they were not informed of what was wrong with her. Elio just told them that she fainted and needed treatment as soon as possible. One of the doctors sighed. “Must we really do this? Her vitals are fine now. Should we just inform him and leave?” The other doctors wanted to move according to his suggestion but Elio wants them to wake her up. It was not like they could. She will wake up by herself once she is fine. They took a deep breath and decided to tell him about her. One of them went out and held onto dear life. God kn

The sound of the magic of the night ended as soon as the sun rose. Elio had warmed himself in a fire of ecstasy as long as he could and made sure she slept while tucked in as well. Though she has not seen her so relaxed in the middle of the night before. He had woken up at night to check on her and see how she was doing. He had wondered what had made her so scared to the point where she did not leave him for once during the whole night. Her grip was the same as before. Firm, tight, and afraid. He caressed her on the cheek and decided to get and take a shower. Though he despised the idea of leaving the warmth of her touch, he still did. He took off his clothes and turned on the cold rain. Elio had always shown with cold water. It was just how he liked it. When he was done, he went to the cupboard to choose a dress for himself and her. He approached the bed and saw her peacefully sleeping on the king-sized bed. Her figure had curved up and held the pillow he discarded. He smiled

Ayah was avoiding his gaze as long as she could. His intense eyes were looking for answers. He wanted her to look at him. She knew that he was teasing her and she hated the fact. He made the chair come closer to him as he was bending down. He searched for her eyes that looked here and there constantly. So when he lost his patience, he held her neck and made her look at him. She was shocked by his sudden action. Her doe eyes looked at his evil ones. “So now you look at me? He asked. “Tell me. Answer my question, Ayah. You want me to make the scar bigger for you?”He left her neck and put his hand on her waist to pull her closer. His breath was on her lips and her hands on his chest so she could maintain as much balance as she could. “Tell me, how is he any better?” Elio asked. Ayah frowned. He has been asking her about a man before the trip. What is he talking about? He is not clear. “What man are you talking about ever since the trip? What man?” She asked. He closed his eyes and t

They looked at each other and made a face. “Who are you?” They asked. Alex smirked. “Just a friend of your friend's husband who is here to clear up a misunderstanding.” He clarified. They did not want to trust him. He was just a random friend of Elio. And they were sure he was bluffing. “What are you talking about?” Mia asked. “What stabbing?” Alex removed a strand of hair from his face. “I ran a check at the background of your ‘friends’ whom I was informed, boarded on the same plane as Elio.” He said and led Mia and Neko to a seat at the hotel lounge. “As far as I know, Elio will never allow anyone else to go somewhere with him, especially while boarding with Ayah, so I was a bit curious.” Alex continued. “After doing so, I checked the CCTV footage of the airport and heard the whole conversation between your little gr

But after the world wars, our king and his lineage were killed by assassination and we were roaming without any security or position in the world.” Mimun clarified while doing Ayah’s hair. She contemplated for a second and the whole life of the people here who have suffered for that long. She nodded as Mimun continued. “Our island is sacred to us and seeing how the tourists came here and took our sacred chapels and shrines as a means of entertainment, we were frustrated. That was when Mr. Ford came to the island. His generosity was as wide as the oceans. Our people complained about our sufferings to him and he then brought this island.” She said, “Not only that, he reconstructed it and even intercepted the visits of tourists. Now we have our name and passport for this island.” “I understand,

Elio was sweating profusely even though the weather was chilly due to the rain shower. He looked like a mess though a charming one. Elio was effortlessly beautiful. He didn't even try to look half as gorgeous as he was. God had forged him especially perhaps because his face was unmatchable. Elio did not look like anyone else; it was as if he inherited half of the beauty of mankind. Even in a state managed to look breathtaking. Carlo gazed at Elio with his mouth half-open. Men could not help but admire him. He had the magnificence, the money, the brain, and quite everything any man could dream of. “Should I prepare some cold bath for you?” Carlo asked. Elio gulped, his head was thrown back on the chair and his eyes were closed. The black shirt he wore was stuck to his body like a second skin and his visible forearms looked hotter as his veins popped out. St
