Brent smiled. It was the first heartfelt smile he'd had since their morning disagreement, "How dare you seduce me so boldly last night, and now you're not even sure of anything I say?" Brent grinned and bent down to try and steal a glimpse of her expression. Hermosa was so cute when she was shy.

Hermosa smiled back. Her confidence and courage were actually quite fragile, almost entirely dependent on Brent's subtle reactions to every move, but she was willing to fly into a flame if Brent gave her the slightest light.
