16-He regrets it

Hermosa had cleaned up the table and the floor, and had put an ice towel on her face in the bathroom for a long time before daring to go back inside, not realizing that she had woken Elisa up.

"Mum ......? Are you crying?"

She rolled over in her sleepy eyes and saw Hermosa's red, puffy eyelids.

"No." Hermosa scooped her up into her arms and she picked up the Elmo Brent had given her ,and let Elisa hold the cookie monster, "Let's play storytelling, okay?"

"No good." Elisa threw away the cookie monster and wouldn't let Hermosa hold the Elmo, "Not until you stop crying !"

"I wasn't crying in the first place."

Hermosa wasn't sure if Elisa would believe her, but she changed the subject, "Do you want to go out? Would you like to take you to the supermarket this afternoon?"

"Yes."

Elisa was excited all of a sudden. She actually liked to go out, but she only stayed at home all day because she needed more sleep than other children because of her poor health.
