I wasn't used to having other people care about me. Only my mother used to inquire about my mental health on a daily basis. She would have strange questions to ask about my emotions and thoughts. Once after I had gotten into a fight in middle school, she sat me down and told if I had ever done something that I wouldn't do consciously in any particular circumstances, I should tell her about it.
