"You know you should have allowed me to cook lunch"

Darrell said laughing, he was sitting down on a couch.

"Oh well that's so not going to happen," Jack spoke out aloud.

He was inside the kitchen cooking.

"Just hope it will taste good cause I'm really starving," Darrell said letting out a yawn, he stretches out his hands and laid sluggishly on the couch.

It didn't take long and Jack came out of the kitchen.

"Here you go, lunch is served," Jack said coming out of the kitchen, he was carrying a tray of food in his hands.

"Now now that's more I like it,"

Darrell says sitting up and running his palms against each other excitedly.

"Hahaha," Laughs Jack, he was sitting opposite Darrell and he is dishing out the food.

"Hmmm! This taste delicious,"

Darrell said after eating a spoon of the brown pasta made with tomato and boiled spinach.

"Thank you," Jack said making a salute sign.

"I didn't think you could do it but you never seize to surprise me, old man,"

"Well I have a lot of secret talents of my own and they will be exposed to you little by little"

Jack said eyeing Darrell with a smirk on his face, giving him the stay tuned look.

They both continued eating and suddenly a knock on the door.

"Don't worry Darrell I will go check on it," Jack said and stands up moves to the door, and opens it, his mood changes the minute he sees the person.

"Good day Jack," Said the person at the door it's the baker, he is an elderly man but he is quite younger than Jack, he is putting on black braces trousers and a yellow t-shirt.

"Yes ermm good day Thompson,"

Jack said as his mood completely changed at the sight of Thompson.

"I am here to ask for something really important," Thompson said keeping a really serious face.

"What is it?" Jack asked they are still at the door.

"I am here to ask for the false book," his face turned sour

"What! What do you need it for?"

Jack asked looking really surprised. His stare spooked at his words.

"Norma Elspeth is asking for it,"

"What does that witch need it for?"

"I don't know, but it seems important,"

"You know we can't give such a powerful book out it contains so many spells,"

Now whispering.

Darrell moves close to where they are and starts eavesdropping.

"I know what you are saying Jack but you know she is cruel and she could plan to do something to my family,"

Thompson said still keeping a really serious face.

"I will look for it, then if I find it, I will give it"

"Ok then I shall come back for it"

Thompson said as he faces down with respect and turns to leave, then the door locks behind him.

Darrell goes back to his seat.

"Who was that?" asked Darrell with his mouthful.

"A friend," Jack replied with furry in his old blue eyes.

"Oh! And you didn't introduce him to me?" Darrell asked faking sadness.

"Don't worry son when it's right you will know every soul in Monaserus,"

"Sure if that's possible," Darrell replied.

"Come on boy forget this chit chat and let's go back to our meal," Jack said

They both went back to their meal and continued their food.

"Berk! Berk!! stop running I am going to get you, you silly rabbit," Alyssa said running, sweating, and still smiling.

"Catch me if you can, hahaha," Chuckled the rabbit.

"I am coming for you," Alyssa said chasing the rabbit.

"No you don't," the rabbit replied and made a swift turn.

"Let's see how fast you are then"

Alyssa replied trying to catch up.

"Nooooo!!" Cried the rabbit, he falls down and hits his back on a small stool.

"Oh no, what happened?, Are you okay?" Alyssa asked feeling pitiful.

"Stop the questions you are adding more to the pain, ahh!"

Berk cries softly.

"Sorry," Alyssa said sadly and carries him up and takes him to her room, she brings some medications and starts using them on Berk.

"This will do the trick," Alyssa said smiling.

"I really hope so," Said Berk in a really low tune.

"Now, I am through with you Berk," Alyssa said.

"What, just that?" the rabbit asked surprised.

"Yes, but you will need some rest and then you will be good to go," Alyssa said excitedly and kissed the rabbit on his forehead.

"I know I am in safe hands since I have you," the rabbit said and gives up a gentle yawn.

"That's ok," Alyssa replied

The rabbit's eyes became heavy and then he slowly falls asleep.

"I will leave now"

Alyssa said covering the rabbit with some sheets.

She leaves the room and heads to the balcony.

"Alyssa I need your help," A female rabbit covered with different clothes and is stuck in them said to Alyssa.

"What happened Sally?" Alyssa asked the rabbit with a chuckle.

"I am stuck," the female rabbit replied

"Well ok, I will try to help you,"

Alyssa said confidently as she stretches her hand to help the rabbit.

"Woohoo! I feel much better, thanks, Alyssa, you're my hero," the rabbit said happily and hugged Alyssa.

Alyssa doesn't respond as she looks through the view of the balcony to see the clouds.

"Mmmh isn't it beautiful," Alyssa said as she stares at the beautiful sky.

"What's beautiful?" Asked Sally curiously.

"The sky," Alyssa replied and inhaled deeply.

"Oh that's true," the female rabbit replied and also stares at the sky.

"You know I will like to be closer

To it, someday," Alyssa said in a sad low tune.

"Yeah that's possible if you go to heaven," the rabbit replied with a chuckle.

Alyssa stays for a long time without saying a word.

"I should go inside now," Alyssa said and heads inside the house.

"I'm coming with you," said the rabbit jumping down from her seat.
