Cynthia's heart jumped as she raised her head to look at the man with the gloomy eyes.

"Gabriel, I'm sorry. I have an appointment with her for dinner today." Jude's voice cut in.

Cynthia lifted her head and met Gabriel's gaze. The depths of his eyes were shrouded in haze, which was so dense that she didn't know how to answer him.

"Come here." Gabriel continued to command coldly, his tone sounding as though he was summoning his pet.
