I sat back down on the bed and they released Zendaya. In half a breath she threw herself in my arms and sobbed.

"Thank you so much, you have returned the favour I did you just now but please don't let them send me away. They hate our kind and you know this."

Zendaya rambled on and I understood her pain.

"No one will do any such thing to you, you'll stay here with me." I hugged her tight but I knew better.

Ralph had agreed to let her stay till she fully recovered but I felt a stronger connection to her and I wanted to keep her safe permanently.

I knew it was going to be a herculean task to convince Ralph to let her stay but I was going to try and use all tools available to me to make him see reasons with me.

My mind was set on that course and I was going to see through to my success.

"You should rest a bit." I encouraged her but she insisted that she had fully recovered.

"I am fine, if someone can show me the way, I can pick those herbs for you." I sighed.

She wanted to help
