The morning light creeping in wasn’t the cause of Arya’s awakening. She was being spooned by Nicklaus and thankfully had her back to him. Breathing feels hard when you’re trying your best to fake a sleep. But here she was again, this time it was different. She couldn’t bear to face him, after everything she said how hilarious was it to turn her back and make advances? The shame alone was enough to petrify her frame and it wasn’t like she could tell him this was her last night with him. This morning was truly blessed because next Nicklaus phone rang and after what seemed to have been a troubling call he dashed out but not before tucking the quilt and snuggling her into it. Sure of his absence she opened her eyes, staring at nothing but the ruffling curtains. She couldn’t decide if she was sore all over or just tired. Against her better judgement she stood and to her surprise it was both. Sluggishly she moved to the showers and helped her appearance to the best of her abilities.
