Chapter fifty eight: I can’t stop myself

Slowly she looked up to meet his heated gaze with disbelief tainting her eyes but there wasn’t any hint of jest in his resolute eyes.

Without hesitation she peeled her eyes away while she felt anger swell in her belly. ‘Was this how he planned to punish me endlessly?’

Her left hand raised to her chest gripping unto the hem of the towel while her face bore many emotions most of which was rage. ‘How can he be so inconsiderate?’ She mentally grieved. ‘I guess his caring nature was all a facade. All men are the same after all’.

Still lost in her reverie she didn’t realize when Klaus lifted his hands. His actions jolted back traumatic memories. Scars she thought has healed or rather, wounds she lied to herself had healed.

But it only took a little scratch and its ugly head revealed itself. That’s who Frederic was to her. A walking PTSD, but it wasn’t Frederic before her but Klaus. Why would it resurface now?

She shrieked in fear, raising her hands defensively over her head and knocking
