Chapter 168: Sunset

Bella’s POV

I followed him out without looking back though I could bet Klaus face would’ve been fun to watch. I just wasn’t in the mood to mess around, the latest news about Arya was still eating me up and I wanted nothing more than to drink till I forget my sorrows. With this thought in mind I made a bow to the man standing by the entrance.

“Thank you for your help, I’ll be on my way then”

The cold breeze made me shiver but I fought against it. Thanks to Klaus I wore so little, it wasn’t my intention to come all the way here but my legs had other plans. I turned to leave but his words halted my steps.

“I feel hurt that you don’t remember me”

My attention refocused on him and as expected he was staring at me for a reaction but I had none. He had a peculiar aura and appearance, there was no way I wouldn’t have remembered him if we met in the past, still I couldn’t be rude and asked back.

“Do you know me?”

I looked a hot mess right now, that’s the least expected after all the earlier
