Postponing the Inevitable

I sent my guest away for an important reason: I didn't want to backtrack on what I had said. However, I took a few shots of whiskey to calm my mind before heading to my room, my head full of thoughts. My desire for Sarah was strong, but I knew it was best to keep my distance.

I remembered what Rachel had told me about Sarah. Knowing that she was interested in the auction money didn't align with the girl I had met on the yacht. Perhaps she was just as skilled at deceiving as her twin sister.

I arrived at my room, far from my guest. I wanted to be with Sarah, but my mood wasn't good, and I knew I might act even worse with her. I chose to postpone my plans for another time. I looked at the bed in front of me. It was going to be a long night.
