CHAPTER THIRTY-ONEDARIUSIt was an uneasy feeling that washed over me, seeing Melissa and Hazel talk from a distance. Hazel looked quite mad, and Melissa looked a little shaken. CHAPTER THIRTY-FOUR MELISSA I watched as the guards poured out onto the streets, terrifying people as they went in their numbers. They were definitely going to line the borders in preparation for a war. My fingers trembled causing the wine in my cup to tilt. Then, I ran a hand through my hair, sighing.
