/Penelope’s POV/

It's been two weeks now and Hunter is still yet to be fully conscious, his motor reflexes are fully active and his eyes are opened, he listens to my ramble but I am so sad that he can't talk, but I'm thankful because this is better than losing him.

The doctors are saying that there is a possibility that he might be able to talk in a few hours, but the underlying question of him being able to retain his memory still lingers in the atmosphere.

“How is Gabriel doing? ” I questioned, not sparing a glance at Big Drive whose body dipped the sofa down, I scowled at him.

“You elephant, take it easy, you will spoil this couch if you continue dropping your body on it like a bag of beans,” I glared, a small smile became evident on his stressed face, his dark circles standing out, we had barely gotten good and decent amount of sleep, especially with how paranoid Big Drive has been, he has this nagging feeling that someone can remove their oxygen masks while we are sleeping.
