Azazel bolted through the door and ran to Iris, “Mrs. Lark,” he called the woman who was just about to retire to her room and sleep.

“Yes,” she turned around and faced Azazel.

“I think we should talk, and this is very important,” Azazel guided her to his study, and Iris followed.
