The scent of blood was so strong that one could taste it in their mouths. The deafening noises had died down as the remaining intruders fled the scene. One of which was the Evergreen wolf that Zira made sure to keep alive, so that she would witness her failure. The wolf ran with her tail between her legs and her ears flat against her head.
