2024-10-29 19:42:56Luna felt a sharp pain in her ankle like an ant bite. Her eyes flew open and she immediately swiped down at her ankle. Instead, she found wolves with deep purple fur that were the same size as her surrounded her. Some chuckled. Some growled. Before she could understand anything more of her situation, the wolves began lunging towards her with their jaws open. Luna jumped up and into a defensive position. However, their teamwork was so seamless that there was no way she could escape. Moreover, she still knew nothing about how the spiritual energy of this world manifested. She could only dodge the best she could and defend her vital points. Nonetheless, they managed to bite her arms, body, and legs. They tossed her up high and away, only to catch her before she hit the ground.
Soon enough, Luna realised that she did not need to defend her vital points. They never targeted them. Their bites were painful but not fatal. It became clear as day that she was being toyed with.
