Chapter 17 ASHINA IS MISSING

last update Last Updated: 2023-06-02 04:08:05

I've been pacing my office while my beta, Ashina's beta, lizard man, and my sister argue about what to do. I am trying to convince my wolf Jasper that we followed Ashina's scent to the road and now it has disappeared. My assumption is that someone hauled her away in a vehicle, probably rogues.

My wolf yelled at them in a guttural voice which was partly my wolf's. "Listen to me, you idiots! There have been several incidents in this kingdom where she-wolves have been kidnapped by rogues. She is in a vehicle somewhere and we have no idea where she is."

"We won't find anybody in here yelling at one another, dog breath. What are you doing, pacing the floor in here screaming at us? She (her mate) should be going insane without her, running through the forest in pursuit of her. I will not be sitting here any longer amongst you mutts. I will find her and be her prince in shining armor. I will prove my love and loyalty to her, which is more than you will ever do dog breath!" The lizard man y

In seeing Andor, my mind flooded with memories; I hated what I had done but loved someone else. When I was thirteen, I met the prince of the south and we used to sneak out to see each other all the time. I had an aunt who was a pack member in his royal kingdom, so I would beg my parents to allow me to stay with her during the summers. Jesup and I hated being apart, so we even thought we could be mates. My heart was always warmly embraced by Jesup's fun loving attitude, swinging across the river on tire swings. We ran through the forest, listening to the leaves crunching beneath our feet. On many nights, we crawled to the castle's top and stared at the stars while testing each other's knowledge about Greek and Roman gods. Whenever his hands touched mine, I felt like any female she-wolf who wondered if we would end up together and bear pups. He was a year younger than I was. When I turned eighteen, I didn't feel that glorious mate pull they taught us about in high school werewolf mate

Akiras point of view - It appears that the trackers have not been returned. I had determined that the vehicle was heading east because the women had been kidnapped from the west. As we had killed all of the rogues except for a few I had been interrogating, I knew there must have been a vehicle nearby. A team of investigators was dispatched to locate the vehicle. In an Alpha command, I instructed them to look everywhere near the bunker we escaped from. I let my irritating talkative friend take charge of the search team. I trust her, but I am not sure why. I certainly wasn't incentivized by her incessant chattering, but regardless of that, I was confident that she would lead the search team. It is early in the morning and the sun is just about to rise. In this way, I am able to determine our direction, because the sun rises in the east, so I needed to head west. A couple of warrior females assisted my interrogation of rogues. In order to ensure that everyone had a decent night's slee

Andor's point of view - It was scary seeing Ashina's wolf hold up my ex's neck, feet hanging in the air. The breath of my ex was cut off by Ashina. I could see my ex-sputtering, begging for help. As I shrugged my shoulders, I let her know I wouldn't help. I had mind-linked my beta and told him to come. After a vague reply, he showed up about 5 minutes later. He had his hair all mussed up and looked like he wasn't working but having recreation time during working hours. As he walked in, I glared at him. "Alpha, one of the women Ashina saved is my mate," he replied sheepishly. As I smiled through the mind-link, I laughed, "Congratulations, my friend." "Alpha, what do you want? I hope you don't mind, but I would like to get back to my mate." I watch him glance sheepishly at me as we continue our mind-link. In the meantime, I'm ignoring the fact that my mate is trying to kill my ex. To myself, I thought she deserves it. I'm still getting messages from my beta via the mind link. Your

  • Ashina the Lost Princess   Chapter 21 MATURE - Giving Andor Erotic Dreams

Ashinas POV -Looking at the pitiful Alpha before me, I take a deep breath. Andor had an almost empty bottle of vodka still clutched tightly in his right hand, despite having shattered empty vodka bottles all around. His bangs were disheveled and fell into his eyes. I saw his clothes were rumpled and he looked like he was in a barfight. I don't get it. Why was this guy so exasperated?Pushing Andor's bangs back, I tried to see the scar he seemed so self-conscious about. Using my finger, I traced the scar down to just below his left ear near his hairline. Rather than seeing it as ugly, I saw it as part of the aloof, rugged attitude he portrayed. His sexiness was undeniable. However, I was annoyed that he slept around, these young women may be ready to change status to become his Luna. It was obvious he had to know why these women wanted to have sex with him. Of course, it's partly because of his handsomeness, but they also want to be like Cinderella and win his heart. For him, none of

  • Ashina the Lost Princess   Chapter 22 Andors perception of the night before

Andors View - Only on my third bottle of vodka, I was trying to drink away my insecurities. Ashina might reject our mate bond, and I was angry about it. There's no way I can live through a second rejection. I threw the empty vodka bottles at the wall. My heart was wallowing in self-pity. In the middle of transferring files, I caught the intoxicating scent of my mate. I tried to sound belligerent so I wouldn't have to deal with her anger. Then, I pretended to see apparitions that weren't there. I acted like I was talking to someone invisible. I pretended to pass out after whining about Ashina not loving me and me looking too hideous. I slammed my head down on the desk pretending to pass out. I didn't mean to cause my own injury when I hit my head on the desk. At this point, I expected Ashina to leave me alone in my misery, but she came over to me anyways. I peeked out to see why her footsteps were getting closer, then closed my eyes to not alert her. Ashina always surprises me, I

Ashina's point of view -My arms stretched as I yawned, I felt like I hadn't slept for a minute. I buried my face in a soft pillow. The pillow smelled like cinnamon and apples. I wondered who was making apple pie. I decided that I wouldn't fight with my stomach anymore. We woke up to follow that amazing scent. When I opened my eyes, I was confused about where I was. These aren't my comforters, and this isn't my bed. What did I do last night? As I grunted, it came to me that I'd taken Andor to his room during his drunken stupor. I also realized I'd practically raped him while he was asleep. I sighed and looked around. He wasn't in bed with me. I felt so relieved to not see him. It was so embarrassing, it felt like more happened than it actually did. As I throw back the duvet, my mouth drops in shock, I'm practically naked. Steam was coming out of my ears, and I could hear my wolf pushing herself out. The next thing I knew, I had shifted into my wolf, following my mate's scent outside.

  • Ashina the Lost Princess   Chapter 24 Cuddling with Cadma

Cadma's point of view - "I love you, what is the big deal about a mate anyway? I bet the Gods and Goddesses put our names are in a Male jar and a Female, which the Gods pull the names out of. I can see a God say Look this name is Jack and that name is Jill. They are perfect together!" I watched Ashina break down in laughter at what I had said. She always thinks I am joking; I am not joking. I know how spunky she is, determined and stubborn. When she is stern her eyebrows knit together and then she is like a volcano boiling over. Akira laughs at my jokes; I mean really my jokes aren't the least bit funny. Through her laughter, Akira seems to have trouble replying, "Cadma, I'm pretty sure it's more than that. It's like the gods see us and somehow, they take a part of our soul with their wolf. A male and a female are created. This way, they are both the same soul, and only true love and perfection can be found when they are bonded. You're empty without that soulmate." Seeing Ashin

Ashina's point of view -It was clear in my mind that, since only two days remain until my birthday, and then we're leaving. Whether I have a mate or not, and whether any more soldiers come to my army or not. During my deep slumber, I drifted off to sleep in the warm bathtub water. The bubbles are long gone, and only the scent of daisies remained. I'm supposed to sleep during the day and wake up at night. Since I've been in this pack, I've returned to normal sleeping habits.I walked through a field, which led to a forest, with trees taller than I could see above and I was amazed at all the flowers all around me. There was a pristine lake to the right where the moon reflected. On the other side of the lake, a woman glided across it, her hair long, black, and billowing around her waist. She had fair skin, rose red lips, and lavender eyes like lilacs. The moon goddess' scent was like the lilacs around her. She exudes the scent of soft, creamy, cosmetic, almondy, green, and the distinc

  • Ashina the Lost Princess   Chapter Ninety: The Meeting with The Royal Kingdoms Alphas

Ashina -- When Andor and I arrived back to what is now our kingdom, the Dark Moon royal pack, my parents granted us many rights, including overseeing new member rituals and other duties of a king and queen. The only thing left was to transfer the titles to us. My mother insisted on waiting until her return and wanted both Andor and me to undergo six months of training. I had several meetings with the packs in the royal kingdom, and it became clear that there were too many packs in one kingdom, leaving their needs unmet. They also voiced concerns about my mother’s temper and magic, which led to Malcolm stirring up unrest among upset Alphas. I proposed a solution to divide the kingdom into smaller regions, each with its own King and Queen elected by the packs. Additionally, there would be a counselor to work with the royal couple, ensuring checks and balances. Each pack would have its own council reporting to the main council, which in turn would report to the

Andor— I found myself completely speechless in the presence of the queen. The memory of her sister's death had been buried deep within me for so long, a defense mechanism to preserve my sanity, my therapists had said. It was impossible for me to convey to her that I couldn't remember what she had seen in my subconscious. A weight settled in my chest as I realized how much her sister's role in my life meant to her, knowing that blocking the memory would only add to the queen's grief, knowing that it was Lisa who had saved my family's lives. As if she could sense my turmoil, Queen Amira attempted to comfort me. "Don’t worry about what you can and cannot remember. You were just a toddler when this happened. I have another question for you. Could I get Ashina and you to take over the kingdom temporarily while my spouse and I bring in the traitors that abandoned their post to guard Ashina and her brother?" I couldn't help but wonder why she wasn't send

Andor –The fireball had knocked Ashina out, and I rushed to carry her to the medical tents, navigating through the tunnels to avoid encountering too many non-mated male warriors. Her mating scent hadn't become strong yet, so I was relatively safe from wolf shifters attempting to claim her as theirs (My Mate). When I entered the medical tent, I noticed several male shifters sniffing the air. Amidst the chaos, a healing witch hurried over to me and directed me to a tent designated for women only. She explained that the tent was enchanted to conceal mating hormones from non-mated males. To manage the females' heat until the war was over, they administered medicinal herbs that would allow them to complete the mating once the conflict had ended.I nodded and followed the nurse to where Ashina would receive care. As the nurse started IVs for Ashina, I observed her receiving the herb intravenously. Though Ashina's heat made me yearn to mate with her, it wasn't the appropriate time or place t

Amira:I was amazed to discover that my powers had returned even stronger than before. I couldn't help but feel that the Moon Goddess had played a role in healing me and enhancing my abilities. I couldn't express enough gratitude to the moon goddess for this gift. Every spell, every incantation, every snap of my fingers felt effortless and natural.I could see the admiration in my daughter's eyes as she watched me use my powers. She seemed to think of me as some kind of super witch, despite the fact that we were werewolves with elemental powers, not witches. As royal werewolves, we are also granted the power of sight when we are crowned. Personally, I am gifted with the ability to see someone's past. In my mother's case, she could see what people were doing in real time. I couldn't help but wonder what kind of sight Ashina would gain once she was crowned.I couldn't help but inwardly laugh as I continued to provoke Griselda, knowing that revealing the truth wasn't for her benefit, but

Dropping to my knees beside my brother, my heart raced at the sight of the gash on his forehead. The blood, so much blood, it looked worse than it probably was. My breath caught in my throat as I saw his dragon working to heal the wound. A mixture of relief and anger surged through me. Gandor had disobeyed my orders, and now he was here, hurt. I stood up, my hands trembling with a burning rage as I grabbed Gandor by the collar and shook him. “What were you thinking? You were supposed to stay home! Do you realize you could have been killed, Gandor!” He just shrugged with an infuriating nonchalance, his eyes flicking away, refusing to meet my gaze. My patience snapped. “What's so important that you couldn't listen to me for once?!” Gandor's eyes widened, and he nodded over my shoulder. “Ashina, who is that woman behind you?” I turned, seeing that it was our mother he had never really met. He was just a baby when we escaped so many years ago. Sadly,

  • Ashina the Lost Princess   Chapter Eighty-Five: What Kind Of Trickery Is This?

Kiera – I stood there watching Malcolm taunt and laugh at me. No Denison can laugh at me and stay alive because I'm a royal alpha wolf. It is beyond my comprehension why this obnoxious human would stand there laughing. The fear of my wrath should have him shaking. Groar – “Attempt to kill Malcolm if you dare, he's a formidable opponent. He will kill you little wolf, if I haven’t killed you first.” Kiera – With a growl, I charged towards Malcolm, aiming for his neck. What kind of trickery is this? When I bite into his neck, it fades like the mist of fog hovering above the lake in the morning. I hear Groar roar with laughter as if he was watching slapstick comedy. Anger welled up from the fire pit that was boiling from deep inside of my gut. I started chewing on the hardened scales of the black dragon. I would dig my way to his heart and eat it. I could feel Ashina pulling through trying to shift. I needed to kill this dragon. It cannot think of living after disrespecting me.

-Ashina - I leaned out the window and listened to the evil blonde witch behind me rant about how Margaret was young and weak in comparison to her. MS. Evil Witch was adamant that she was a much deadlier witch than Margaret. It’s blah blah blah. I was working up the courage to jump out the window, talking to myself. I decided I would count to three, then I would jump out the window. 1 (1000), 2(1000), 3(1000) Okay, I needed to count again. I just messed that up. Naturally, my sweet wolf, who always encourages me at the wrong time, chimes in. Kiera - "Chicken!!! Bawk, bawk, bawk. Well, you will lose your ride if you don't hurry! Or the wicked witch of the west to barbecue us ala flambe." Ashina -- " Well, if you're all hyped up about jumping out of that window, I'll shift so that you can jump in my place." Kiera - " If I jump or you jump we will both suffer and die either way. Also, if I was supposed to fly, I would have been born a dragon, and seeing as I am not one, I would not jum

-Ashina –The first thing I noticed when I awoke was that I was in a tower with no doors or vents, only a window. As if I were in a fairytale, my prince would call out to me, asking me to let down my hair so he could climb up it to save me.In search of a way out, I felt dismayed at the lack of options available, except for the window in front of me. As I looked out, I noticed this tower was high above the clouds. The first question I asked myself was it duck hunting season? I swear I saw birds flying in a V formation. My thoughts were interrupted by an angelic voice, but I could feel the evil aura radiating from her. There was nothing angelic about the person who was speaking in front of me.My abductor was a tall, blonde woman with soft curls, dressed like a woman from the days of ballrooms and fancy dresses. Despite her large and beautiful eyes, you could see the blackness of her soul through them. It would have been understandable if she had been the siren that led so many sailors

Andor –The air was thick with the stench of death as I fought against the relentless tide of enemies, my magic draining my strength with every blast. I cursed under my breath as I accidentally incinerated a few witches amidst the chaos. But it was either them or me in this bloody battle, and I had no time to dwell on the casualties. The Queen had enclosed me in a protective bubble, while the witches tried to pop the bubble to kill me, the witches were not here to keep me safe, but to toy with me, to break me before the queen. I could feel her seething anger pulsing through the air as she eyed me like a predator sizing up its prey. I rolled my eyes at her, my own temper flaring in the face of her arrogance. The queen began an outburst about an ancient vase that I had blew up, some treasured artifact from her family's history.
