ARYA POV

After taking a shower and walking into the room Arya went to check on Olivia and saw she was still asleep in the crib that was brought to her room.

Turning around she noticed a dress bag and a pair of silver heels on the bed. She unzipped the bag to a royal blue dress. As she slipped it on and looked in the mirror to see the true elegance of the dress. The Royal blue color went very well with her skin tone. It was forming fitting and the spaghetti straps held nicely allowing the low V-neck to stand out. The light sparkles that coated the dress made the dress stand out even more. There was a slight slit going up the length of her dress stopping right above her left knee. She slipped the silver heels on and buckled the straps completing the look.

She left her hair down to allow her long white hair to flow down her back and waist. As she was combing through her hair for a final touch there was a knock at the door.

When she answered it was her father that stood before her.

"My King." She bowed gracefully. She had been well taught all her life being the princess.

"Arya stops. We need to head downstairs to meet the Alpha. Are you ready? You look stunning. Just like your mother." He said sadly

"Yes, I am ready. Thank you, father." She smiled lovingly before asking "Can we have someone in here with Olivia while we are in the dining hall? I don't feel comfortable leaving her with just a guard outside."

"Of course. I will ask another guard to see if Jane can find someone for you." He assured her before turning to one of the guards at her door. "Sam, can you go find Jane and see if she can have someone stay in the room with Olivia, please?"

"Yes, my King." Sam replied before walking off.

"Thank you." She told her father.

They walked down to the dining hall in silence. As they walked in they stared in awe and the decorations. It was lovely.

They were shown their seats but stood waiting for the others to arrive.

A few minutes later and everyone had arrived except for the Alpha. Everyone was chatting and making small talk when the Alpha finally arrived.

Arya was bust talking with her father’s Beta when she smelled the most amazing scent and made her mouth water. Lavender and vanilla. Smelling that amazing scent made her breathing become quicker. That's when she spotted him.

Alpha Josh POV Before they entered the dining hall Josh saw the King hand Olivia to Arya and peek his head through the door moving his head side to side to look around. “Coast is clear.” He whispered waving them forward. “The big mighty King scared of a little omega she-wolf.” Josh chuckled. “Now I know who to send if you ever try to go to war against me.” “Pfft. I am not scared of her.” The King scoffed as he entered through the doors. As soon as the king was on the other side of the door he stopped in his tracks and stiffened. Cause Josh and Arya to almost run into him. Josh poked his heads around the King to see what made him stop when he heard Janes voice. “You three are 15 minutes late for dinner.” She scolded them while pointing her index finger in their direction. “Calm down, Jane. You’re scaring the King. We had to get Olivia” Josh laughed. The King squinted and stared at josh through the corners of his eyes. “Shh. I told you that in confidence.” Josh just shook his he

Arya POV Arya had always heard people talking about the mate bond and its pull. How you wouldn’t be able to tolerate being away from your mate. How you would always want to be near them and touching them. And all she has wanted to do since she recognized him as her mate was to be by his side constantly. So, how could she not want to share a room with him? Sleeping next to him inhaling his intoxicating scent all night long. Just that thought was enough to believe she had died and gone to paradise. “Is that a good surprisingly? Or a bad one?” The Alpha laughed taking a step closer to her. “It all depends.” She smiled taking another step closer leaving about a foot of space between them. “What would it depend on?” His smile faded and his eyebrows scrunched together. “Is there a room with a nursery attached? Or at least a room that’s across the hall?” She stepped closer making their chests almost touch. His eyes glistened with excitement as he spoke. “I suppose if I say yes there are

Arya POV “Have you heard anything about the rogues?” Josh asked Mitchell eyeing his every move. Arya watched Mitchell closely to see if he was lying. She had been married to him for 3 years. He may have been a shit husband, but she still knew him better than anyone else in the room. “Which ones? The ones causing havoc around my borders, stealing and causing issues with my pack members? Or the ones I have heard are breaking into the houses of witches?” Mitchel said casually. “There are rogues at your borders? Why haven’t we heard about this?” Her father asked. “Because its my pack and I am handling it. why would I involve other packs or the king for a measly band of rogues?” Mitchell replied. “Fair point. As long as you have it handled.” Her father nodded. “I was meaning the ones robbing the witches. Have you heard anything more about what is going on with that?” Josh asked. “Nope. Just they are breaking in when no one is home, apparently. Not sure what they are looking for.” M

Arya POV She stood there and watched their wolf’s fight. No one did anything. No one moved. “Do something. Stop them!” She wasn’t screaming at anyone. She just needed someone to stop them. She looked to the King and pleaded. “Father. Please. Stop them. They will kill each other.” The king looked at her sadly. “I’m sorry. I can’t. This is Alpha Josh’s territory. It goes against our alliance. I have no power here. The Alphas must handle this one.” She let out a sob and turned back to look at the two Alpha’s. She wasn’t sure what she was feeling in that moment. Fear? Anger? Sadness? Maybe a combination of all three. Everything bubbling to the surface ready to explode. She tried to calm herself down before it could, but it was too late. “STOP!” Her aura exploding out of her with enough force it brought everyone, except her father, to their knees. She watched as Alpha Josh and Alpha Mitchell shifted back into their human forms. She glanced around at everyone before her eyes fell on Alp

Alpha Josh POV Something was off about the phone call with Alpha Mitchell. He sounded angry that Arya was on Alpha Josh’s territory. At least he agreed to come. Though Josh was worried what would happen when the Alpha got there. How would Arya react to seeing him? He would be here in 30 minutes. He didn’t get the chance to tell her when he would be here. She had to go check on Olivia. As Josh walked to her room to tell her about Alpha Mitchell, all he thought was what if this plan goes terribly. He couldn’t think like that though. He knew that’s what she would be thinking, and he needed to show her she was safe there. If he showed his worry right now, how could she trust him to keep her and Olivia safe?As he stood in front of her door, he took a deep breath. He was about to knock when he heard her say “You can come in, Alpha Josh.” He had a slight smirk impressed with her boldness today.Opening the door to the room he only thought of how he never wanted to leave again. Alpha Josh PovJosh looked at his mate and then Loklyn. He didn’t want to lie or hide anything from her. He wasn’t even sure if he would be able to.“I will answer anything. I want us to be truthful to one another. No lies or secrets.” He nodded to Arya and sighed. “We haven’t heard from him about you running away. Which is odd. My pack borders his. This should have been the first place he checked. So, why hasn’t he? And why was he wanting to know about the witches? It just doesn’t make sense.” it was as if speaking those words something clicked and he looked at the King. “Could Mitchell be behind the rogues?”“What rogues?” Arya asked making josh look at him. “There have been rogues breaking into witch houses. They aren’t hurting anyone, only breaking in when no one is home. They are taking grimoires, family trees, anything about their histories. We aren’t sure what they want them for. We think someone is behind it but haven’t been able to find any proof. The witches asked us for h
