BASTIAN
My wolf was already crazy this week as I've been wrapped up with that damn doctor at the prison.
His incessant reports just keep coming and I have Fredericks pushing me to accommodate the fucking guy.
He still bugs me to no end. I don't know why, but I feel like he's hiding something. I did a background check and everything does checkout, but before he turned 18, it was like he never existed. I can't even find his damn birth certificate.
He spends all his time in the prison. Having private conversations with the Dragons here. I wish I could hear those conversations, but the good Doctor keeps his interactions under wraps.
I've been keeping an eye on him closely, but if he is hiding anything, he's good at it.
After wracking my brain, I felt I needed to see Sammy. I don't know why, but my wolf really likes her.
Seeing her in her white business skirt and pink blouse, had me stirring inside. The pressure in my pants increased when she had her back to me and I saw the faint outline of her thong. My mouth watered.
I was disappointed to hear she was going away for a week. I have to suffer with her business partner. I tried to think of anything I could say to change her plans, but came up blank. I have no right to force her to not take a vacation.
I need to get her to stay here somehow.
As I walk down the hall to my office, I stop.
I roll my head to a door. I open it and walk into the fairly large empty office.
I stand in the office and pull out my phone.
"Cheryl......Can you meet me in vacant office 4? I have a project for you." I smile as I push my phone back into my pocket.
I look around the office. "It's perfect."
****
It's been three days now. Cheryl's been working hard as my office coordinator.
I, myself, am going out of mind. Sam was right about Eric. He's good. He's just not her and I hate it.
I walk into the ballroom, aggravated and on edge. "What's going on in here?" I growl as I see the business partner and another man sitting and eating at the table.
"Alpha. We're just grabbing a quick bite before the furniture arrives in an hour.
"This place is a mess! Put the fucking food down and clean this place up!" I shout.
Nigel comes in behind me. "Um, Alpha. There's some work in your office that needs your attention." He smiles at me.
I squint at him. "Fine." I turn back to the men. "This all better be cleaned up before I get back."
Nigel turns me away and smiles at the men. "He's just stressed. It's fine. Finish your lunch."
He pushes me on. "You need to calm the fuck down."
"Why?" I grumble.
"Bastian, you just yelled at people for eating."
I lift my hand back down the hallway. "Did you see my trashed ballroom? Sammy would never have it so messy." I stuff my hands in my pockets as I scowl.
Nigel nods. "OK. Why don't you hide in your office for the next 5 days. It's clear Sammy not being here is making your wolf not think straight."
"My wolf doesn't control me." I growl.
"Bastian, your eyes are glowing." He tilts his head to me.
I stop and close my eyes.
I put my hands on my hips. I push my guy down and lock him up. I need to see Sammy at least once.
I look at Nigel "Get me Sammy's address."
He blinks at me.
"Now!" I bark.
He flinches and pulls out his phone to G****e her.
As he was typing, Cheryl jogged up to us.
She's smiling huge. "Alpha. It's done."
I grin. "Show me."
We walk to vacant office four and Cheryl opens the double doors.
The white carved oak desk is the first thing you see. The white throw rug on the marble floor lights up the room with the help of the large windows overlooking the flower garden on that side of the house.
The empty bookshelves will be filled with her books if things go the way I want.
I scan the room. "It's perfect." My phone dings. I take it out.
"There's her address. You...uh...really going to disturb her on vacation." Nigel raises his brow.
I grab his shirt collar and pull him to me. "If I don't get this asshole subdued, yours will be the first face I punch." I push him back.
"Ok. Go visit the decorator." He swallows.
A few minutes later, I'm peeling out of my driveway in my navy-blue Lamborghini Gallardo.
Heading to Sammy's house. I'm hoping a visit will put my wolf to sleep until she gets back before I kill someone. Maybe I can convince her to come back early so I can show her my surprise.
It's about a thirty-minute drive from the pack house across town, to the tiny home where Sammy lives.
I pull my car in behind her beat up truck.
Good, she's home. I grin as I get out.
I'm totally out of my element here. I never venture out of the pack house into town.
I look around the outside. The lawn a little rough, but it's kept up. The house is definitely humble. It could use some paint and maybe an upgrade, but it certainly reflects Sammy's mild demeanor.
I step to the front door and search around it. I press the button on the side and hear a small ding dong. I place my hands behind my back and rock on my heels as I wait for someone to answer the door.
The door opens to a lovely, older woman. This must be Sammy's mother. I give her my most charming smile.
"Good afternoon. I'm looking for Samantha. Is she home?" I'm polite as I can be.
The woman stood speechless. I awkwardly look at her as she says nothing. "Ma'am?"
She snaps out of it. She giggles. "Oh, yes. Um, Alpha. We...uh...we weren't expecting you."
"No. Of course, you wouldn't. I apologize for arriving unannounced." I run my fingers through my hair.
"No...no....It's no problem. Please. Do come in. Sammy's in her room. Um...I'm Karen. Sammy's mother." She leads me into the house. The tiny hall leads to a tiny living room with the modest kitchen off to the side. "Dale? The...uh...Alpha's here." Her words are full of nervousness.
I smile again. "Please, call me Bastian."
She returns with a grin. "Bastian. That's a handsome name. Um...lemonade?"
"Yes. Please." I wait in the hall as an older rather fit man enters from the other end.
"Alpha. What a surprise? What could the Alpha of Black Rock possibly want with us?" He puts out his hand.
I shake the man's hand. "I'm here to see Samantha. She's decorating my ballroom."
Sammy's mother approaches with a glass of lemonade. I take it and sip it. "This is good. Thank you."
She chuckles. "Honey, you remember the big job the kids were talking about?"
"Right. How could I forget. They were so excited. Business has been kind of slow."
"Really?" I arch a brow.
Dale folds his arms. "Yes. It's the sign of the times I'm afraid."
Before I could ask what he meant, Karen says she'd take me to Sam.
I follow her up the small staircase to the second floor.
She stops at a door at the end of the hallway and knocks on it. "Sammy? Someone's here to see you?"
I pop my head in and shoot a little wave. "Hi" I say.
She gets the expression on her face that I'm getting used to seeing often on her. She's caught in the headlights again with her brown eyes wide. "Wha?"
Her mother leaves as I enter Sam's little room. I look around. "For some reason this is exactly how I pictured your room to look like."
I spy her paintings. I knew I'd see them and I am not disappointed. They are exquisite.
I point. "My God...." I beeline to the stack of canvases. She jumps in front of me.
"No. Bastian. Don't." She has her arms out.
I lean to her. "Just a peek." I push her out of the way.
"Bastian...." She tries to protest, but I hold a finger up to her lips.
"Shush." I demand.
I turn back to canvasses and flip through them. I pull out a field with trees and the foothills of Black Rock. "Oh, I have to have this. This would look amazing in the ballroom."
"No! Bastian....My paintings are not for display. Do you hear me!' She stamps her foot and rips the canvas out of my hand.
I see a painting on her easel. It's covered in a cloth. "What's under here?"
I go to lift it and she slaps my hand. "Ow!" I pull it back.
She points at me with an angry face. "Hands off!" She gets between me and the painting. "Bastian, what are you doing here?"
I stand tall. "I came to visit." I sound very proud of myself.
"Ugh." She spins me around. "You can visit some other time. I'm on vacation."
"Wait!" I spin back around. "I have a surprise for you back at the pack house. I was going to show you when you got back, but the excitement is killing me. I need to show you now."
"Bastian. I'm trying to relax here." She whines.
"An hour...tops. Then you can relax all you want." I search her face. "Please."
She heaves a breath. "Fine." She grabs her jacket. "Lead the way." She waves me out of her room.
I drag her outside and to the car. I lift the door.
"Oh my God. This car cost more than my house!" She stands shocked.
I rub the back of my head. "I like Lambos." I shrug.
I help her in and shut the door.
I reverse out of the driveway and hit the gas down the road.
"Whoa." She says holding onto the seat and the door. “...a little fast." She looks at me.
"Yep." I glance at her with a smirk. I slow down a bit as I see she's all stiff in the seat.
"So...um. What's this surprise?" She folds her hands in her lap.
"You'll see. It took three days to make it just right. I'm hoping it's perfect, but you can change it if you don't like it." I say watching the road. I whip around a slow Civic.
She whips her head to me. Her luscious brown hair whipping around her head. Her eyes narrow. "What did you do?"
I lean to her. "You'll see." I wink.
****
Tiny electric shocks go up into my hands as I walk behind her covering her eyes.
"Bastian...What is this?" She asks.
"Almost there." I lead her down the office hall and stop at door four.
"Ok. Now." I take my hands off.
After a second, she turns folding her arms. "It's a door."
I lean my face close to hers with a grin and dreamy eyes. "Open it." I say quietly.
She huffs and turns. She slowly opens the door to the brightly decorated office. Her mouth drops. She takes small slow steps into the room.
I'm beaming behind her.
She spins. "Bastian. This is beautiful! "
I get close. "It's yours."
She steps back. "Mine? What do you mean mine?"
"You, Samantha Gale, are now the new pack house interior decorator. I'm hiring you full time and you will run your business from here."
I walk to her desk and pull off a paper package and walk back over. "All your staff will join you. You run an independent name, but your main client will be me. And I will be like your landlord. Here's the contract. I'm sure you'll see everything is in order and I'll pay you, of course.
She takes the contract. "Bastian. I can't take this."
"Yes, you can. I'm impressed by you and I can't lose you as a decorator. Your talents are just what this pack house needs." I walk over to the door. "I'll have Sam's Designs put on the door."
"This is sweet, but I like my little office in my garage."
"Sam. Please. Let me give this to you. You've put up with my selfish ass for so long now. Let me make it up to you. You can't tell me your garage office is better than here."
She turns and walks around the room. It's much bigger and there's even an eight-person round table in there for meetings and designing.
She smiles the cutest little smile I have ever seen. "Ok. I'll take it. You better not be messing with me." She wags her finger. As she walks up to me.
I shake my head. "Nope. Once you sign the contract, you can move in."
She goes to the table. She signs where she's supposed to. She hands it back me with slightly shaking hands. "Oh my God. I work at the pack house." She grins a toothy grin.
"You need to pack. Now. You don't need to pack your whole room. Just clothes and a few other things. Everything else will be provided for you." I say as I pull out my phone.
"Wait. I'm moving in?" She stops in her tracks.
"Of course. All my staff live here. It's a requirement to work for me."
"You never said anything about living here." She looks at me like she's going to kill me
My brows go up. "It's on page 2 of the contract." I flip through and show her.
She squints her eyes at me. "You tricked me."
"No." I raised a finger. "You should read before you sign." I smirk. "I'll call the moving company. I'll bring a car around to take you home.
"Bastian!'
I press a finger to her lips. "Shush. I'm on the phone." I wave bye, smiling as I shut the door behind me. I order a moving truck for my sexy decorator.
SAMMY"Mom. It'll be fine." I say as I pack a suit case."Samantha, you can't do this. What if you have an episode?" She's following me around my room in a panic."Mom's right, Sam" Dylan’s sitting on my bed."I know she's right. That's why you're moving in with me." I look at Dylan. He straightened up. "Me. At the pack house? Are you nuts?"I scoff. "Apparently."My mom stood in front of me. "They won't understand Sam. This is a bad idea.""Dylan can watch me Ok. He knows what to do. It's fine." I push past her."Mom. This is an opportunity of a lifetime. For me. For us." I motion to Dylan. "We can't turn this down."I look at Dylan. "Eric's already on board. I signed for it. We're moving. Get packing."I demand Dylan go pack while I take my bags to the truck."I hope you know what you're doing." My mom says as she hugs me. "You call me. For anything at any time.""I will." I smile and get in the truck. "Dylan let's go!" I yell.Dylan comes out and tosses his duffle back in the box o
BASTIANAlright. I may have crossed a line at the pool. I couldn't help it. When I saw Sam in that tiny black bikini, my wolf went insane. I wanted to rip the eyeballs out of every male there.I had to shut her down before I ended up doing something even more stupid than I already did.I mean, I had no business talking to her like that. She's not mine. Though it feels like my wolf really wants her to be.I just couldn't take the unmated males on my staff eyeing up her goods. It's also the reason I made sure she got the room with the private bathroom. I had to pay the head chef double the weeks' pay to get him to move out. He wasn't happy. I'm on the hook to have a bathroom installed in his room so he doesn't quit on me.Sammy is special. I don't know how, but I need to keep her close. I feel this need that she needs to kept safe. Needs to be protected for some reason. I feel some inner connection building. I just hope I haven't pissed her off too much. She's been avoiding me all week.
SAMMY I slept for the whole day and most of the night. I woke with a growling stomach. I threw on some slippers and a robe over my pajamas. I snuck downstairs to the kitchen to try and find something. Anything to eat. I found some left over pot roast. I sat on the floor against the fridge and shoved pieces of it into my mouth. Mouthful after mouthful. I ate like I hadn't eaten in a month. "You know. The chef's going to be pissed when he finds out." With my cheek stuffed, I turn my head to the voice. Bastian comes out of the darkness. "What?" My face full of embarrassment and shock. He chuckles as he sits down on the floor and leans against a cabinet. He's wearing track pants with no shirt. His hair pulled up high on his head. "I couldn't sleep so I was doing paperwork by the fireplace. I was surprised to see this tiny woman sneaking around in the dark." I blush and offer the leftovers. He takes out a piece. "Thanks." He mumbles with a full cheek. "So, you're awake." I nod.
BASTIANI look around the large property as I wait at the front entrance of the Red Rock pack house.I don't want to be here, but for Sam, I'd crawl through hot lava to help her.I wait with my hands behind my back. The door opens. I smile. "Lucy. Is Luke here?"She crosses her arms and leans on the door. "Bastian. What brings you out of the castle on the hill?"I shake my head. "You and your brother are really the same person, I swear. Is he home?"She pushes off the frame. "Yeah, he is. Come in."She leads me into the common room. I'm always shocked at how small the pack house is considering the income for Red Rock is pretty substantial. You think they'd expand it more."Have a seat. I'll get him." She went upstairs.I'm leaning on my thighs, tapping my fingertips together as I wait. Luke comes down with Alexi and Lucy in tow."God. What now?" Luke shakes his head.I stand. "I swear. I come in peace." I throw my hands up."Bastian Cole showing up anywhere is never peaceful. What do
BASTIAN"Sammy? Please. Tell me what's going on?"I walk around to the front of her.The moonlight shines on her silky, disheveled hair. Her hands are black with the charcoal from the charcoal stick she's drawing with.As I look closer, bandage is torn and covered in blood. Her hands work overtime, drawing a picture.I crouch down and try to see her face. I'm afraid to touch her.Her eyes cast a pink glow on the floor as she growls low."Sammy. Please stop." I quietly beg her.She doesn't look up. She spins the pad around so it's right side up for me.I stare into the black of the picture. Into the red glowing eyes. She growls loud. She takes the stick and starts to draw circles around the eyes. It's fast and crazy. I almost get the feeling she's trying to tell me something.I swallow as I reach out. I grab her wrist. Instantly, I'm hit with a heat that almost makes my own skin burn.As I hold on, the heat is replaced with electric sparks. She's cooling down. She raises her head slowl
BASTIANSitting at my desk at the Unit, I seem to not be able to concentrate on anything else, but Sam.I've been avoiding the office, working from home for a few weeks now. I don't want to leave her just in case, but I have a massive amount of work I need to catch up on.I was just about to file some papers away when I got a knock on my door.It opens and two blonde Alphas walk in. I smirk. "Well, if it isn't the double mint twins." I lean back in my chair. "A little far from the recruitment center, aren't you boys?"Wes and Grey Andrews. Alpha Andrews twin boys. Beefy guys. Blondes with blue eyes. Always together. It's weird. I cringe at thought of what else they do together.Wes smirks at me. "Bastian. We thought you went AWOL.""Me? Never." I put my hands on my desk. "Just had some stuff to clean up at home."Grey folded his arms. "Yeah, we heard. You really think that fancy dance hall is going to land you the Head Alpha position?""Uh…It's a multimillion-dollar grand ballroom and
SAMMY The last episode I had was the most disturbing one ever. I don't even know what set it off. All I know is that after my hypnosis session with Dr. Rennet, I was feeling pretty good. I was just working in the ballroom when the beast wanted out. The pain was excruciating. I could feel it pushing and clawing its way to surface. I'm sure I would have lost if Bastian didn't show up when he did. It's weird, his connection to me. I can't say I hate it. It's just strange since we really aren't anything to each other. I won't lie and say, I'm not starting to have feelings, but he's my boss and I can't tell him how I feel. I need to get these feelings out before I lose what little control I have. I fill my paint tray and turn on my music. I'm painting and dancing as I listen to 'Cooler Than Me.' By Mike Posner. I wiggle my hips, as my brush glides around the canvas. This where I love to be. In front of my easel, listening to tunes and zoning out. Letting the paint come together the w
BASTIANAfter we got home, I said goodnight to Sammy at her door.It wasn't a typical date, but it was something I won't ever forget.I knew Sammy was special, I just didn't realize how much. To help her people, when her own Alpha was clueless to the problems, makes me feel like a complete dick. All these years, I've walked around society. Bragging about my perfect pack. My perfect life. I was so off base. Now that I know, I have to fix it. Just like I'm helping Sammy, I'll help my people, too. I can't allow my people to suffer while I build stupid ballrooms. Sammy taught me that tonight.I wish I could hold her right now, but I feel like we're not there yet. We've gotten closer as the weeks go on, but she still feels some distance away. I'm sure it's because she doesn't want to burden me with her problems, but what she doesn't get is that I want to be burdened. I want her problems. To see her carry this by herself, kills me. But I'll give her space if she wants it while still keeping
BASTIAN"There he is. The man of the hour." River smiled as he held his beer up to me.I bowed as I approached. "Thank you. Thank you."I clink my bottle to his."Congrats, man. I don't what the Unit is thinking putting your ass in charge, but I'm sure you won't burn the place down." Luke smirks."Thanks, Jackson. Coming from you, I'm sure that's a compliment." I smirk back.Jayson puts his hand on my shoulder. "This is quite the party. Looks like the whole pack's here.""Since our ball was canceled this year, it was the least I could do for my people. A Luna introduction is one of the biggest parties. I want them to love Sam as much as I do." I grin."Hey thanks for inviting us all." Wes and Grey approach our circle.I pull them in for bro hugs. "You all are as much my pack as anyone. Sam wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you guys.""Sam wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you." River pointed out. "You saved that girl's life. Who knows where she'd be right now.""Living the high life a
BASTIANMy head is still reeling from everything that's happened over the last few months.I sit at my desk at the Falcon Ridge Prison. Trying to work, but I desperately want to get home to Sam. I'm not finished celebrating my mate bond with her.I'm going through the prison reports that the now dead doctor left for me in my email. I delete them all, but I can't help but think there might be some merit to his idea. There may be some here who could use a rehabilitation program. I'll have to discuss it with the next Head Alpha. As far as it being me, I left that months ago. Sam and my pack were more important than any job promotion. When I do go for it again in the future, it'll be on my record. Not my popularity. Because I realize I was living a fantasy. A dream world I created that I only lived in. I was oblivious to the way I sounded and acted toward people. That man will never exist again. Now that I have Sam, I don't care about frivolous things. Money may buy a lot of things, but i
SAMMY"Look up." I turn my eyes up as the pack doctor shines a light in my eyes."Ok. Look at me." I look at the doctor and his light. He takes the light away. He smiles. "Well, young Luna. I really can't find anything wrong with you except your very exotic eye color."But, why? I don't understand." I ask him. He goes to his computer. He clears his throat. "The only thing we did find was this chemical in your bloodstream. It doesn't seem to be doing any harm. It's inert really. If what you told me is true, it's entirely possible that this chemical had a reaction to the blue light being reflected off the moon from the sun."I looked at him completely confused. He laughs. "The blue moon that we shifters see, is a special combination of light radiation given off by the sun in a certain position in the sky. When that light hit your body, it activated that chemical which caused a rather violent reaction. After, the chemical seems to have fused with your damaged Lycan gene. In short, it fix
BASTIAN I'm lying in the cot, healing, when my head explodes with Sam's blood curdling scream. I jolt up holding my head. "Sammy?" I try to mind link her. "Sammy!" Getting no response, I run to find River. I finally find him. He's been bitten in the side and bleeding. Jay's helping him to the medical tent. "Fuck. You, ok?" I look at the wound. He winces. "I will be." "Listen. Sam's in trouble. I have to go." I look at them both. "What? How do you know." Jay asks. "She screamed through the link. I have no time. I have to go now." I say. "I'll go with you." Jay says. We drop River off with the medics and shift. Running back to Black Rock. "Please be ok." I beg over and over. I look at the moon as I run. It's higher now. "I'm coming Sammy." I dig in and run as fast as I can. An hour later were entering the property. I shift and run for the house. "Why is it dark?" "Don't know." Jay skids to a stop. "Bastian." He points to the outside walls. I look at the wall of my house
SAMMY My fork dances around my plate. Pushing around the food that I barely touched. Wren looks at me. "Sam, eat something. You haven't eaten properly in days." "Why hasn't he called me?" I drop my fork and slump back in my chair. "I sent a message two days ago." "I don't know, maybe because he's preparing for war? Come on, Sam. He'll be ok. He's trained for years. He's fought over a dozen major missions and hundreds of minor ones. Bastian knows what he's doing." She puts some food in her mouth. "I know. It's just.... the more he's away the more it hurts. I know he's coming back, but my chest feels like it's in a vice. I feel like I'm going to be sick." I whine. Wren smiles. "You're in love. You miss him." I lean on the table. "I do, but this feels a hundred times worse for some reason. I'm not a clingy person, but I need him here now or I'll lose my mind." She looks at me funny. "What?" I ask. "Sam what do know about the Blue Moon?" She leans on the table to me. "Nothing. J
SAMMYI pace the floor. I'm sick with worry. I'm supposed to be concentrating on other things, but not seeing Bastian for the last three days, has my stomach twisted in knots."Sammy, please. We need to continue."I glance at Wren. Bastian sent her to me two days ago to see if she can assess my wolf. Plus, she's a trained fighter so she's like my personal bodyguard right now."Wren, I can't train. It's been so long. I need to know what's going on." I shake my hand as I pace. She walks over and stops me. Her big, blue eyes stare at me. "I get that you're scared. But, Sam, Bastian wanted you to train. You should train. Ok? Come on." She waves me into the middle of the training room."Now, relax." She shakes herself out.I copy her. I blow out a breath. She puts up a finger. "Remember. Call the wind, but don't shift. Ok? Concentrate."I close my eyes and call the wind. It blows a little gust then dies. I flop my arms at my side. "I can't do it.""Sammy, you can do this. Just try." Wren s
SAMMYI hit the floor with a thud. My face throbs. My head pounds."I told you. You can't win, child. I'm too strong." The beast cackles.I pick myself up. Wiping the blood from my mouth. I'm tired, but I'm not giving up."You won't get control. Not again." I spit blood on the floor."Look at yourself." The beast walks around me. "Pathetic! Weak! Not one ounce of strength in you. You're too much of a coward to take what's yours. That's why I exist. Someone has to take the path destined for us. That will be me." She lands another punch to my head, sending me flying across the void, bouncing off a wall and crashing to the floor."I'll fight you." I struggle as I get to my hands and knees. "I'll kill you." I fight the white-hot pain in my head."Child, you couldn't harm a fly and the way I see it, you're as good as dead now." She walks over and delivers a kick to my chest.I roll on the floor, whining holding my ribs."I can't believe the creator chose to pair me with the garbage that la
BASTIANGardenias. God, I love waking up to that smell.I'm lying on my stomach with my arms tucked under my pillow. I crack an eyelid. I blink to adjust to the morning light.I stretch a bit to wake up and instantly I hear, "Don't move a muscle."My eye search for the angel that said those words.I smirk. "What are you doing?"Sam has pulled a chair close to the bed. She's curled up in it, wearing my shirt loosely, with a sketchpad and pencil."I'm drawing." She smiles."I see that. Why can't I move?" I ask."Because you'll ruin it." She glances at me.I watch the end of her pencil twirl as the tip glides over the pad. "You're drawing me while I sleep?""Yes." She barely makes eye contact."Why?" I question."It's what muses are for. So, we can draw you while you sleep." She smirks."I'm your muse?"She nods, biting her lower lip."We'll that's a first." I chuckle."Don't move." She scolds. "It's a first for me too. I've never had anyone I've been so inspired to create before. When I
SAMMY "I need a hot shower and a 10-ounce steak." Bastian says, after we enter the pack house. I giggle as he leans on me, holding his broken arm to his chest. "What you need, Alpha..." I stop and remove his arm. "...is to get that arm set." He looks down. "I guess that's a good idea." He rubs the back of his head, smiling. Anton and Nigel walk in behind us. "I'll call the pack house doctor." Nigel claps his back. I smile and turn to go upstairs. He reaches out and pulls me to him. "Where do you think you're going?" He smirks I look over my shoulder. "My room?" He shakes his head. "I don't think so." He places his forehead to mine. Threading his fingers into my hair. "You're not leaving my sight ever again." "Oh? Why's that?" I smile. "You, my beautiful angel, are never leaving my side." He kisses me. "At this point, I may never allow you to leave my bed." "Am I a prisoner, Alpha?" I smirk. He shakes his head on my forehead. "No, but no one will ever take you from me agai
