It was only by a miracle that we made it back to the estate on time after the whole ceremony.

Cold dew adorned my arms and legs.

Sebastian stayed away from me for the rest of the event, preferring the company of his friends. He invited me once, but I knew what that invitation meant.

A way for my family to get to me.

Now, his face had returned to its normal princely indifference as he helped me down from the car.

"The good news is that you'll have plenty of time to get yours and the kid's clothes arranged."

A frown touched my lips. "Why?"

"Do you plan on buying clothes when we get there? We can do that, too." He raised his eyebrows at me. "Oh, you didn’t know. I can't believe you would think I would not take you on a honeymoon."

My face fell. I inched back. "That is widely unnecessary. You have to keep Jaden from the prying eyes."
