Once we got into his office and the door went shut, father walked towards the freezer, opened it and took out a bottle of water which he downed half of it. Then he walked around his desk and settled into his seat. He let out a low grunt and then slowly faced me.

He stared hard at me for a few seconds.

“Who is she?”

I was ready for other questions but definitely not this one.

“Not anyone important, father.” I said calmly.

He stood from his seat, pushed his seat back and started towards me, face stiffened and gaze locked furiously on me.

“You think marriage is a joke? Do you? How long do you plan on denting Williams? How long do you plan on living irresponsibly?!”

He was struggling to not roar more than he was already doing. I could see it with the way his eyes shone with rage. His face spoke so many words that he didn’t say. That was father, he wasn’t one to let his anger show. Once he told me one of the virtues he knew he must acquire if he was to continue to build William
