Giving a last brush of the blush on my cheek, I placed it back and applied a nude pink lipstick on my lips. I braided my front hair in two french braids and pinned them, leaving some of the loose strands falling on my face.

Giving myself a last look in the mirror, I pushed behind the long hair from my strapless shoulder. Nodding satisfiedly, I headed out and found Christian sitting on the couch with his laptop.

“ Are you gonna keep working today also?? “ I asked, stopping before him.

He raised his head slowly, taking his eyes from my visible leg through the slit and then up at my face.

I raised my brow as he checked me out, shamelessly. “ Like what you see, Mr. Brown?? “ I asked, narrowing my eyes at him.

“ Very much, Mrs. Brown.” He stands up, closing his laptop.

I stepped back immediately, not wanting to smudge my lipstick at all.

“ Can I ruin that lipstick of yours?? “ He asked, taking a step towards me.
