“ Are you serious, Morris?? You've been doing it for years and got caught by her?? ” I ridiculed him as he told me how Jennifer caught him following her, red handed.

“ I'm sorry sir. But it's because of Mr. Anderson. He told her that I was there.” I heard him sigh, from the other side of the call.

I grit my teeth.

“ Looks like one dose wasn't enough for him.” With flaring nostrils, I slumped back into my chair.

“ Is there anything more, Morris?? ” I asked, gripping my phone tightly.

“ Actually, Mam.. She told me to warn you and come prepared home.” His answer had me stop my every movement as I stared ahead at the wall.

Partly because she used ‘home’ and partly because I love it when she shows a wife's attitude.
