Chapter 6: It's me, your fiancée.

"My name is Aylin, Feng Aylin. what is your name?" I asked her as if I never read about someone's background two days ago.

"Aylin, you have a nice name, too. My name is Su Meili. You can call me Lily. Lily is my nickname." She smiled, showing her cute dimples.

"Right, are you a student here? I never saw you before." She asked while we walk back from the teacher's office.

Are you popular, you know everyone here? Of course, you never saw me before. This is my first time here.

"No, I'm not." Still, I answered nicely.

"I'm here to find someone since he didn't show up to our date, yesterday." And that someone is your friend.

"Is he your boyfriend? " She asked.

"No. Well...he is my fiance. But we never met nor we dated before. Both our parents arranged the marriage for us. Yesterday is supposed to be our first date, but he didn't show up because he said he has a match." I said with a sad and disappointed tone.

"What? How can he do that? He should oppose his parents if he doesn't want this marriage." she said furiously.

"Right. I didn't know what to do, so I think I should come and meet him."

"What a bastard. Why make a lady come...oop! I'm sorry." She is probably sorry for calling him a bastard in front of me. She seemed more furious than me, his fiancé.

"Then did you talk with him yet?"

"Not yet. I don't know where to find him."

"Ah. You said he has a match yesterday? So it should be someone on a basketball team."

Maybe she saw my dispirit face, so she's trying to help.

"Tell me his name. My friend is also a basketball player. He may know your fiance. I will ask him for you." Finally, the question I wanted to hear.

"His name is Li Yihan. I'll be very grateful if you could help me." I gave her my big smile.

"..."

"Li Yi...Li Yihan!? " She raised her voice when came back to her sense.

"What's wrong? Do you know him?" I asked, acting ignorantly.

"I know him." She replied after she calmed down. "He is my best friend."   

Then as she's done thinking she said. "Let's me help you. You are now considered as my friend. Let's me bring you to him." She said with determination and sincerity.

I got surprised by her words. We just know each other and she trusted me instead of her friend just like that?

I start to feel guilty right now.

I looked at the small back of the girl in front of me as she's holding my hand to somewhere.

There is something in my heart that I never felt before.

Soon, we arrived where a small group of people could be seen, sitting on the bench under the big tree.

"LI YIHAN." Su Meili shouts when no one seems to notice both of them standing behind their back.

"What is wrong with you again, water lily? You don't need to shout. You becoming more and more like an old woman now." A playboy tone talked back.

I looked at him. So he is probably Steven Zheng. He looks way more better than in the photo I have seen.

"And who's she?" Then the other three men turned their heads to look at me with that question.

Damn, this sight almost took my little soul away. Why do they need to look this handsome?

"You ask Yihan yourself." She tossed the question back to the man with a black leather jacket.

"Eh Yihan, you know her?" Steven Zheng asked his friend.

"Who is she?" The deep voice replied back with a question.

There is a dead silent.

"You..." I held Lily's hand signing her not to talk as I walk to stop in front of Li Yihan.

"I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Feng Aylin, your fiancée." I said as I extend my hand for a handshake.

There's another dead silent.

"fiancée?" He said as he stands up and ignored my hand that extended to him.

"I don't remember I agreed to engage to anyone. So, why are you saying you're my fiancée, Miss Aylin? And have we ever meet before, don't act like we familiar with each other."

I took my hand back.

What a foul mouth he got.

"Our parents had arranged for it already. If you have something to say, you can go talk to your parents."

"You can still deny it if it was yesterday, but I don't think you still have the chance now, do you?" I smirked.

He got annoyed by that fact.

"What do you want coming here for?" He asked, walking to me with threatening.

"Heh, be nice to her. She's my friend." Lily came to stand between us as a shield.

"Since when are you close to her?" Yihan asked, looking at Su Meili.

"I met her this morning. She helped me carry all the books to the teacher's office."

Yihan then gazesd over me.

"I don't know what happened between you too, but you should talk with each other. Communication is the key, ok?" She tried to meditate.

"And what did I told you? Be a gentleman, can't you? You didn't go to your first date because you have a match? You lied. It's not your team who have a match yesterday. Imagine how sad she is because of your action." She tiptoed and twisted his ears as she confronts.

"Ah stop it, Water lily." He tried to get out from her grip.

We just met, but yet again she gave me another surprise. I didn't know that big boy couldn't do anything to this tiny girl.

Is this how they normally act?

"Come here, Lil dove." A strong arm wrap around Su Meili trying to bring her back.

"Let's go of me." still, she tried to resist.

"Enough. let them handle their own problems." Hong Tengmin said with a low and slow tone but still give that aura that makes everyone listen to his words.

Su Meili stopped resisting when she looked at Hong Tengmin's gaze. But she still glares at Li Yihan as a warning.

I step closer and whimper to his ear and said provokingly. "I came here just to let you see my face and also to tell you that I will get your attention from today onwards. You have to put up with it for a little bit because I will show my face to you every day even you don't want to see me." Then I step back to smile at him.

I smiled like a winner. Then I turn back to look at Su Meili.

"Lily, I have to go now. See you later. And nice to meet you everyone." The last sentence direct at the other three boys. Then I walked off given no damn thought to Li Yihan.

"Wait."

"I don't know what are you planning? But don't try to use Su Meili. She's not someone you can touch." Li Yihan's unusual serious voice sounded behind me.

I turned to look at him for one more time then walked off.

Until I walked a bit further that I reach out my hand to feel my heart. Phew, can he read minds?
