Chapter 47

BIANCA’S POV

I bit my lower lip, glancing around as if searching for help. It dawned on me that I didn’t consider setting up the location we’d meet before calling him. I have only been in this part of the city for a day and don’t know any place other than this penthouse apartment.

“Give me two seconds,” I told him, pressing the phone to my chest to mute background noises. I quickly headed to the kitchen to seek help.

A plate of scrambled eggs with spinach and tomatoes and a tall glass of milk awaited me on the dining table. Gideon had prepared everything really quickly. I could see why Richard hired him or did he work for the hotel?
