Chapter 103: The Wedding

It was about three weeks into June and close to the start of a new summer. The long-awaited day of Sophie and Elliot's wedding had finally arrived. The auditorium of the Christ's Day church at Wall's Street was wearing an ebullient and festive outlook.

The idea of holding the wedding at this church was an idea from Elliot's mom, who had suggested that she wanted the special occasion to be celebrated at her former church because that had always been her wish, even before she later joined the Catholic church. The couple, who were not exactly staunch churchgoers themselves, had granted the wish without hesitation.
