Reyna-

I wasn’t sure how it was possible for Luka to be outside of the game right now, but I wasn’t about to question it. For the first time today, I wasn’t in extreme pain. Plus, it felt good to be able to have him hold me for real.

His body felt warm, and I could hear the sound of his heartbeat as my head rested against his chest. This was much different than being held by him inside the game. Once we return to the game though, I will miss the feeling that his touch in real life gave me.

I knew it probably had a little to do with the mate bond because I have been doing my own research. Right now, I couldn’t think about that though, because I wanted to cherish every moment, I had with him. I didn’t know how long he would have, because I figured that he was only out of the game temporarily.
