Over the next few days, Luka and I focused on taking Hope on pet walks. Although I looked forward to seeing Luka every time I logged in, I was excited to be able to play with Hope. I noticed that she had bonded more with Luka.

Considering they were with each other all day every day, it made sense. Still, our little pet always seemed happy to see me whenever I logged on. It was probably for the best that Luka and she developed a stronger bond anyways, that way she will protect him first rather than me.

Other than just doing pet walks, we have been grinding hard on the second level. I noticed that the closer we got to being able to fight the boss, the less talking Luka did. It was as if he was pulling into himself, making it difficult to approach him.

After logging out later the night we received our pet, I had been in a beautiful dream. We had acted like we were a real couple, even after the quest. When I returned, however, he seemed distant with me.
