Colt and Nakiya once again try to suppress their giggles as they look at each other. Agenor cleared his throat just to stop the verbal bullying.

"Maira…just leave the poor guy alone!" Agenor cut her off, "But you guys do understand that I'm only allowing these kinds of jokes until the kid comes, right?"

"...the bloody audacity of optimism!" Falco snorted with a disdainful laugh, "If he was willing to join today he would have been here already. I'm telling you, he ain't coming… so let's just fill the form and get it over with!"

"Come on! You don't know that." Agenor replied, "besides, it's not like we'd be getting a prize for submitting the form so early, so let's just wait until we can!"

At this, Colt mustered his courage to interrupt Agenor.

"Agenor! I kinda agree with Falco on this one… I mean, he was pretty spooked when the Master announced her intentions."

Nakiya chipped in as well, adding to Colt's concern.

"Yeah. Our goal is just too daunting, almost to the point of lunacy. All

Varun gazed at the guy draped under a dark hood standing right next to him. His fingers curled into fists when he realized that the guy closed the gap between them before he could even blink. He couldn't even sense him until he was standing right next to him, glaring into his eyes. If this was a real life battle, Varun would find himself in a vulnerable spot. The degree of potential threat he posed made Varun take another step back without even thinking. However, Varun's demeanor shifted from feeling threatened to dogmatic when the guy removed his hood. He felt the colossal spike in his pulse when he saw his face. Varun immediately recognized the familiar lengthy scar stretching from his nose to his left cheek, his dark brown eyes. "You… Wait, hold on! Why are you here, Gryffon?""..."Creed replied nothing just kept gawking at him from an arm's distance. Without any reply to any of his stupid question, he picked up his rucksack from the ground. From just a mere touch Varun already

While Agenor took care of form and document, Maira and Creed were fidgeting with their own rucksacks next to each other. The thing about archers is that their equipment needs more attention and preparation than anyone else in the team.Their gears are consumables so they had to keep a check on how much they can carry on a single mission. Maira knew that Creed had packed a huge set of arrows inside his rucksack, but when she peeked at his bag, it was thrice as big as her own. "Just out of curiosity...how many arrows did you bring?" She asked,"216" Creed replied, "Why? Running low on supplies? I can spare some if you need?""Nah! I'm good… but you know bringing so many would slow you down! I understand that you like to plan things beforehand but this is just too much…""I hope you're right…" Creed's fingers trembled slightly, "coz for some I feel that even this much won't be enough."Maira asked, "What about soul armas? How many arrow-type soul armas do you have?""One!" Creed replied

All of them gulped every last bit of saliva in their mouth. The eyes jumped out of their sockets. The Green board officials saw their paranoid reaction and felt a sense of amusement and satisfaction."Alright, since our job is done," the man uttered, "We will leave now. Good luck everyone."All three Green board officials immediately yanked their mounts and headed for their way back to the shelter. The very next moment, a loud voice burst in their ears that made everyone come to their senses."Alright! Everyone… This is it. " Grisha was the first one to shout at the top of her lungs, "Don't get left behind.""Whoever is with the White clan… " A bald guy also rushed towards the floating castle, "You better keep up!""It's not always gonna stay still people… move… move… move!"Soon enough, the entire crowd burst with shots of adrenaline. They all climbed their mounts and rushed to follow their respective leaders. A few of the solo hunters also followed the crowd. Everyone now stormed to

Falco and Colt looked brutally flustered. Nakiya and Maira held their thumping chests. While Agenor scratched his forehead with dreadful mortification. However, their reactions were not over-exaggerated at all. Now that they had a closer look at the beast jogging next to them, the threat they felt was undeniably real. Last time he didn't have a mount on the hunt, but this time he does. Creed unintentionally caught them off guard and scared them with a sudden chase.Technically, Cursed Stallion should belong to 'Phantom' for killing the Malaka Chieftain, haunted along with everyone else. Fortunately, None of them knew Phantom's real identity, so it all worked out in Creed's favor. He had decided to reveal the Cursed Stallion as his mount on the hunt, whereas whenever he would mount the identity of a Phantom, he would just stick to his Inca Wings. Both of his personas now had their own separate and unique trademark modes of commute, which is exactly what he wanted others to see."Is th

Agenor interpreted as asking, "How many people do you see nearby?"Colt squinted through his pocket sized one-eyed binoculars and jerked his head back and wondered, "Eh!! What is this?""What's wrong?" Agenor whispered, "No. Nothing's wrong… I mean, that's the weird part. This spot should be swarming with climbers. We took the longer route, yet none of them are here! We are the first ones here… what the hell""For real?" Nakiya uttered as she looked around. "Fantastic!" Agenor smirked, "He did it. This is our distraction, people""What the hell did he do?""The plan! It's working…""No time for questions.." Agenor interrupted, "We are climbing with closed chakra so we'll have to carry Rain on our backs.. Let's take turns as we climb, except for Maira! Who wants to go first?""I can go first!" Nakiya bent her knees as she uttered, "Rain!

On the other edge of the Pandemonium, Creed sat on top of a rocky cliff with his rucksack next to him. His eyes lingered around his IOT compass attached to his belt. Although, his expression told that he was really struggling but the subtleties of his body language during the practice hinted otherwise.Though his limbs were twitching with pain, body drenched with sweat, and veins burst with blood rush, regardless, he was still humming as if he was enjoying his training regime. This shouldn't come as a surprise since he was finally noticing some changes in his shots. Over the past few days Kendrik noticed that his accuracy has slightly increased and he has finally gotten a hang of the customized training regime. This training regime was extremely taxing but after everyday's practice and consistent effort he realized that starting from scratch—as Creed advised—was not bad advice after all. He was also diligently taking the pill that Creed prescribed, and coincident

Creed walked out of the medical facility feeling despondent. He was undoubtedly thinking about the discussion that he just had. He continued to mutter to himself, agitatedly. This facility had by far the most efficient, advanced, state of the art equipment available to humans. It reminded him how difficult it was to bridge that gap between privilege and non privilege.Compared to this, the hospitals available to the general public were absolutely garbage. Creed was creeped out by how well funded, and well designed this facility was. It almost seemed as if he arrived like a planetary hyperspace launch station."So this is what true aristocratic privilege looks like?" Creed whispered, "What'd you say?""Uhm… I said… I've never seen a hospital like this before!

Creed opened his straining eyes pulsating with throbbing agony. As the vision grew slowly, he could see nothing past the blur of lights and shadows. He tried to move his limbs, but a sharp pain shot up his arm. He groaned in pain. All he had were the brief flashbacks of memories from the night before. The Formless beast, the Serpent Woman, and most importantly, Eos' daunting trickery. He tried to move, but he immediately felt restrained. His naked body was wet. His body was completely naked and afloat in a viscous fluid. His eyeballs jittered once he saw the silver edges of curved encasing. He was trapped in a box like a barbie doll.Panic flooded inside his mind when he realized he was inside a bionic pod. He knew what had happened to him? Creed immediately struggled against the restraints, but they held firm. Soon, he heard footsteps approaching, and a door swished open."Ah!! Mr. Gryffon, you're awake!!" A voice landed in his ear. This situation was way beyond Creed's caliber. ~GRRRARGGGGGGHHHHSoon enough, the formless beast also roared on top of his lungs.
