I chose the latter and rushed out of my door, ignoring the call from Simon. He was about to go inside his room and shut the door when I called out his name.

He stopped dead on his tracks and turned around to face me with no emotion on his face.
"What just happened back there? You can't pull something like that for one moment and then wish me good luck on my date like none of this ever happened," I almost yelled in frustration and he just rolled his eyes in response.

The next morning I woke up to the loud ringing of my phone and groaned in frustration. It was the weekend and I had no class or work today. After talking a nice long bath, I came outside the bathroom, wearing just my bathrobe and slowly tiptoed towards the bed.
