Chapter 28: Vampires/Dragons
She woke up for the first time since she arrived at the castle. She looked around and realized that she knew the place. Prince Vladimir sat beside her bed and smiled at her
“Welcome back Princess”
He said with his soft velvety voice. She sat up slowly and took the cup of water he offered her.
“Thank you…”
She said hoarsely. It hurt her throat to talk. She slowly sipped the water so she wouldn’t throw it back up. Vladimir smiled at her and sat silently as she drank the water. When she was done she handed him the cup back. She felt a wave of pain in her chest and blinked as she realized that is came from Jonathan. He was depressed and she could tell. He had long gone back to the pack with the twins, but his thoughts were always on her. He thought she had died, but refused to move on.
“Can I use your phone? I need to call home…”
