Quickly!” Adele told her and began feeling for a pulse. She smelt alcohol in his breath and was scared he had been poisoned. The ambulance came and she rode with him to the hospital. While the doctors worked on him, she called Chris and told him what had happened. He was there in less than ten minutes. He found her pacing in the waiting room. “What happened?
