"Off course. I'm not about to miss out in the fun and again, Luc asked me to babysit you". He winked.
Hearing Lucian's name pricked my heart but I did my best to ignore it. I didn't tell anyone what happened. I wasn't ready to be at the receiving end of their sympathetic looks.
And again, it'd been two weeks and I'd been managing just fine.
Or so I thought.
It was the weekend, and we were going on a trip. More like a mini vacation to a lake house we rented.
