CH:2 The Meeting

Zane came into his office. He put his laptop bag on the table. He again checked his schedule on the tablet. There were only two meetings today, but he has to wait to meet the new boss. He may miss the dinner with Anna.

'Should I inform her?' He thought then dropped the idea because she will get upset. They have both been together for six months now, it's all going well. Anna is such a sweetheart. She is very understanding and caring and she loves him so much! But, does he loves her? Zane sat in his seat. A flash of memory ran past his head.

"You will never be able to love anyone else... Yes, you will try but you will never succeed in it. Zane, you are mine. And you always will be mine." Her words echoed in his head.

'Yes, she was right.' He tried it so many times but it was only affection. He never got the same feeling from anyone else. Maybe, he will never get the same feeling but he can risk it.

'Why am I thinking about her?' He scolded himself and then start doing his work. He turned on his laptop and start checking the graphs' sales. His fingers work fast on the laptop keypad. He stopped typing a few times as he is thinking about something... But then continue doing his work.

'Yes, Anna. He has to tell her, it will be so rude if he will let her wait for him.' He dialled her number. 

"Hello, love!" Her beautiful voice came from the speaker. 

"Anna, I am sorry but I would not be able to come for dinner." He said.

"Zane, but you promised..." There come sadness in her tone. 

"I know Anna, I am sorry. But, this new boss is meeting all the managers. I will be so late coming back home. I promise I will make it up to you." He said in a gentle tone. 

"Okay, I understand. I know this is important for you." She said. AND Zane sighed in relief. Yes, that is how Anna understands him. He smiled. 

"I will make it up to you in my way..." He said sensually. She giggled. But Zane went into a daze.

(These are Claire's words and he repeated them, he remembered them. "I will make it up to you in my way..." She sat on her knees and opened the buckle of his belt. She zipped down his jeans, and Zane was going crazy feeling her warm breath on his crotch. He grabbed his head and then pushed him to do it. "You are such a tease." He huffed. She smirked and then look into his eyes. "Don't tell me you don't enjoy it?" She was the master of her work and she knew him so well. "Ugh, Yes, I do..." He said. AND she dropped down his boxers and start licking his hard dick. "Ahh, Claire. I love it..." He groaned.)

"Hello... Hello? Zane!" He came out of the thoughts and cleared his throat. 

"Yeah, yeah. I am here." He said and he can feel the heat in his pants. 

"Haha, I can not wait for it." She laughed. 

"Hey, Okay. Boss is calling me, See you soon..." She said then ended the call. 

"Okay, bye, have a good day," Zane said, hearing the other side's beeping sound. 

After that, he started doing his work. But there is something different today, something very strange. Why does he keep remembering her? What is going on with him? He took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He saw the most charismatic pairs of eyes and he opened his eyes. 

"No, it's very odd. I have to concentrate on my work." He said then dialled Sarah. 

"Sarah, get ready for the meeting. I will be in the meeting hall in ten minutes." He said then again start looking at the presentation. He noted a few main points then after ten minutes he left his office. Zane along with Sarah came into the meeting room where the other employees were waiting for them, AND like that the meeting started. 

The discussion and finalising of the new marketing techniques with the enhanced budget system of the company took three hours. Zane was satisfied with the final reports and it seems his employees have done a good job. The odd feeling vanished as he got busy with his routine work. The next meeting was outside after lunchtime with a client who was interested to invest in the company if they will run the ads of his product as a partner. Zane was handling it by himself... So he left the office. It also went well. His busy day was going well. It was 4:30 pm when Zane came back into the office. He was going to his cabin when Sarah called him. 

"Sir!" She said. He went towards her desk. 

"Yes, Sarah?" He asked. 

"Sir, the new boss has arrived. There were these six range rovers with high security. It was so much! Also, meetings with the managers are started. So, get ready. I am going home in fifteen minutes... So, I thought to remind you." She said with her professional tone.

"Thank You, Sarah!" He gently nodded his head.

"Good luck, Sir." She said. Zane came back into his office. Now, he has to wait till he gets called by the new boss. 

He closed his eyes and put his head on the backrest of his chair. A smiling face came into view, she kissed him on the lips. It caught him by surprise. 

"Haha, Yes, I wanted to do this for so long..." Zane was hearing her laugh.

He heard a knock on his door. Zane opened his eyes to see the person standing outside his office door. 

"Yes, come in." He said. A watchman came inside his office. 

"Sir, the boss is calling you up on the thirty floors. You didn't pick up the office phone. So, I am here to call you." The watchman said. 

"Oh, what time is it?" Zane said getting up from his chair.

"Sir, it's 8:00 in the night, and everyone left the office. I am also leaving." The watchman said. Zane nodded his head. He slept for three hours... Fuck, he then comes out of his office. Zane locked the door the watchman already left him. The office was very quiet, there was no one in the building. 

'As soon as I get over with this meeting. I am leaving this place.' Zane murmured to himself. He get inside the elevator and then pressed the button to go up. After a minute the doors opened with a ding and he came out of it. This floor was also as quiet as the others were but the light to the boss chamber was on... Zane didn't slack but took hurried steps towards the door. He didn't know why but his heart was beating crazy. He stopped in front of the office door.

"May I come in?" He said then entered. 

The boss's back was on him, and Zane gulped when a similar scent get inside his nostrils. 

"Sir?" He said. The chair rolled towards him. Zane's eyes widen with shock.
