A few hours passed, Marcus came back with the material’s Victor needed, he then joined Anabel near the fire.

“Did you miss me?” he said half smiling.

“Maybe.” She said sticking her tongue at him. “So what did the angels say, is there still hope for me, or am I thinking and reading too much into this?” she said lowering her head hoping he wasn’t going to tell her bad news.

“Well we’re kind of stuck right now.” He said shaking his head. “But they said if things start to go to hell here, we need to go there and Michael will figure out where we can go from there.” He said looking at her. “I feel like we have a pretty good chance here, we just have to be fast when we move.”

“Alright.” Anabel said half smiling. She still didn’t feel better knowing the Angels weren’t going to be able to help, but she had Marcus so that made everything a little bit better. “I guess we’re just going to have to do this alone, that is fine. I rather no one else die because of this.”
