Deceit

Sweat beaded on Tracy’s face as she stared at her phone, her heart thundering in her chest. This could not be happening to her. Why on earth was this happening to her? She was a good person, and she did not deserve any of this at all. Okay, fine, she had made a mistake and was now lying to the man she loved, but she did not intend to saddle him with another man’s child. That did not mean that she deserved any of this. After all, she had plans to get rid of the pregnancy immediately after her wedding to Ryan and then start over on a clean slate with him. As she stood there, the phone began to ring in her hands.
