Sarah! Sarah! Wait a minute! Sarah!" Someone called her from behind while she walked toward her car furiously, ignoring the calls completely.
But at last she stopped walking, unable to ignore him anymore. She turned around to face him with a fury filled look on her face and glared hard.
"What do you want?" She snapped loudly, unable to contain the frustration that formed up from her conversation with Helena Watson. She was almost shaking in anger. She was continuously fisting and realising her palm, she was that frustrated.
"Whoa! Whoa! That's not a nice behaviour now, is it?" Nick asked with his usual cheeky grin which irritated Sarah to no end but she didn't snap at him like usual as she remembered last night's happenings. She took deep breaths to calm her nerves down and looked at him with a serious look on her face. She crossed her arms over her chest with attitude.
"Why
IN OFFICE "Mary, we only have five more months and we need to prepare everything fast. I have to win the race. You understand that?! I have to win it any way possible." Sarah Sarah with determination in her eyes which made Mary shiver. They were in Sarah's one of the offices out of three, particularly in her own office which is her comfort zone. Like usual, she wasn't sitting on her chair but walking back and forth, in front of Mary. Mary looked at her from head to toe and understood the seriousness of the situation. Sarah usually keeps her look simple and light but right now she was looking anything but that. She was wearing a black fitted suit. She has kept her hair open which she rarely does. She has straightened her hair and divided it into two equal sections and kept it over her shoulders. She was wearing dark red lipstick and did her eyes boldly. She was looking extremely stunning. &
"Wh... what's going on between me and Miss Mary, boss?" Jonah asked while keeping a clueless face on but King could see everything beyond that face. "What do you think of me, Jonah? That without you I don't have any connections with the world, huh?" King asked with raised eyebrows, making him nervous. "No, no, no, King! That's not what I meant!" Jonah instantly tried to explain himself but King cut him off with another laugh. Jonah stopped fumbling with words and looked at him with a frown. "Are you pulling my legs?" He asked which made King laugh more. "Oh damn! You should have seen your face!" King said and kept laughing. "Fine, fine! Laugh as much as you want to. I will have my days too and that day I will be laughing till my heart is full and you won't be able to say anything. That day even your bossy attitude won't work because I will only abide by 'Your boss' from then on. Then yo
"Hello, Mary. How's everything?" Sarah asked on the phone while walking in the corridor of Watson mansion. "I have everything set, Sarah. Did you get the file from the mansion?" Mary asked from the other side of the phone. Sarah has come to the mansion to take a file from Helena Watson for the business which she inherited for the race. "Yes, I got it. I am going to the nursery now. How about you meet me there?" Sarah asked. "Perfect, I will meet you there in one hour." Mary said and after that they kept the call. Sarah put the phone inside her suit pocket before going through the file roughly about the company. She didn't notice the person coming from the other hand and soon enough, she bumped into the person and walked a few steps back by force. Thankfully she didn't lose her balance. "What the hell, Sarah?! Can't you see
IN THE NURSERY "Hey, I didn't know you were going to be here too?" Sarah asked in surprise while walking toward Mary and her husband who were engaged in a light conversation. "Hey, wifey!" Elijah came forward with a big happy smile which immediately filled her heart and she felt happy within. He opened his arms wide open to scoop her in. "Hey, husband." She mumbled and immediately reached him to get cocooned in his safe embrace. She inhaled his rich scent and calmed her nerves down. She hugged him warmly when he returned and gave a kiss at the crown of her head. They seem to be lost in each other and totally forgot about Mary who was standing there awkwardly. Mary seemed to notice that too and cleared her throat loud enough to make them realise her presence. That seemed to work and they both pulled away from each other and looked at her with a smile. They were still side hugging e
"Can you remove the blindfold now? I am getting impatient now." Sarah whined like a child as Elijah kept guiding her toward the place where he prepared the surprise for her. "Just a few more minutes, dearest. We are there already." Elijah said with a chuckle and kept guiding her toward the place. After a few more steps, they stopped somewhere and Sarah sighed in relief. But soon a sweet smell came to nostrils, making her take some big satisfying sniff from the air. "Where are we, Elijah? I smell satisfaction!" She exclaimed in happiness while taking some more sniffles like a rabbit, looking really cute at that moment. Elijah laughed hearing her choice of words. She is too cute sometimes! "Open the blindfold already, Elijah!" She said, getting impatient. "Calm down, little rabbit." He said with a small chuckle before proceeding to fulfill her demand by opening her blindfold.
"Wh… what do you mean?" Sarah asked in an uneven tone. She was taken aback by the blankness in Elijah's tone. Her innocent questions seemed to trigger something inside him and he let out a frustrated sigh and ran his fingers through his hair. Sarah suddenly remembered that day's event when they went on the date and he suddenly became somebody else. She got scared somewhat thinking he is going to react the same way today too. She went completely silent and looked down while taking a step away from him. Elijah noticed all her actions and also read the fear in her eyes and felt more frustrated toward himself. He took some deep breaths to calm himself down but he couldn't but at that moment all he could do was change his expression back to normal. He took a step toward her. Good thing he didn't flinch away from her. He calmly got a hold of her upper arms and pulled her closer to him. Then he proceeded
"Jordan, can you calm down and tell me what happened? Why are you so angry?" Helena asked her youngest grandson who was pacing around angrily, not listening to her any words. "I can't calm down, grandma! I can't calm down! It's getting on my nerves. I can't bear it anymore." Jordan exclaimed as he stopped, paced around and sat on the chair in front of Helena. They were in Helena's office room, her safest place where no one can enter without her permission and is heavily guarded from outside. There is no way possible that anything will go outside this room. "You can't bear what anymore, Jordan?" She tried to ask him once again and this time he decided to answer. "Sarah." He voiced out the name with so much venom and hatred, if anyone other than Helena was present there, they would have pinched themselves to see if they weren't dreaming. I can't bear her anymore, grandma. "I c
A boy around the age of eight was running as fast as his small legs could. He wasn't even looking back and was running with all the dedication and passion in the world while chanting only one thing in his mind. 'I have to survive. I will not let them destroy me. I have to survive to take revenge. I will take revenge for everything that is taken away from me. I will return and take my revenge.' The more he reminds himself of those words, the faster his legs work in the dark night. He was running through the jungle, cutting himself with the fallen branches here and there but he didn't care. He soon noticed the road and a smile came up on his face. He was now at the other side of the city, far enough from that burning fire. Now he is safe or he thought so. Soon a blaring sound came from his left and a blinding light came from the car which was approaching him at full speed. And within a few seconds….
