A glimpse of past

A boy around the age of eight was running as fast as his small legs could. He wasn't even looking back and was running with all the dedication and passion in the world while chanting only one thing in his mind. 

'I have to survive. I will not let them destroy me. I have to survive to take revenge. I will take revenge for everything that is taken away from me. I will return and take my revenge.' 

The more he reminds himself of those words, the faster his legs work in the dark night. He was running through the jungle, cutting himself with the fallen branches here and there but he didn't care. He soon noticed the road and a smile came up on his face. He was now at the other side of the city, far enough from that burning fire. Now he is safe or he thought so. 

Soon a blaring sound came from his left and a blinding light came from the car which was approaching him at full speed. And within a few seconds….
