"It looks like it might rain today."
Ayesha looked at the clouds. "No. I don't think so."
She dropped from the car. She grabbed her jacket from the seat and skipped to Dimitri.
When he invited her out to go on a day's trip with him to Abbots Langley, she was pleasantly surprised. He told her he had someone he needed to meet, but the meeting wouldn't take long, and they could enjoy the village a little before heading back to Watford in the evening.
Ayesha giddily accepted the offer. They didn't have much time to meet during the week because she worked most of the day till evening, and so did he. So, aside from grabbing breakfast and lunch here and there, most of their interactions were on Saturdays or over the phone.

"Hey, you." Joseph greeted as Ayesha walked into the apartment. He lifted the glass of juice he held in a toast. "Welcome. Ayesha got out of the water before her skin started to prune. She washed off the water in the guest bathroom and changed into her spare clothes.She walked out of the bathroom in a pair of oversized slippers, towelling her damp hair while she looked around.His house was lovely. Monotone in some rooms but still managed to appear cosy and welcoming. The rooms in the palace were always filled with colour. It bloomed like a flower every morning and night. Dimitri slowed to a jog before stopping and allowing Ayesha to catch up. Despite what she claimed, she was a good runner. She caught up to him and folded, slapping her hand on her knee. She sucked in all the air around them to fill her lungs.“Water.”He handed her the bottle, and she guzzled it down before he stopped her. Ayesha coughed and dropped her head on his chest, unbothered that his jacket was soaked with sweat.“That was good.”“Was it?” He laughed. "You sound like you are about to fall apart."He massaged the base of her neck, kissing the top of her head. They had taken a secluded path, so it didn’t cross his mind to be careful. In fact, he had been forgetting to do that more often than not. When he took her out to eat, he’d forget not to stand so close to her or touch her as often as he did.
