Discovering Paris had seen her. Everlee ran quickly to the park and hid behind a tree. She secretly peeks from the tree hoping Paris didn't follow her until it felt safe for her to revealed herself.

Where are you Archer, she worried about Archer being late to meet her. Knowing Paris had seen her she needed to return home before Paris did and made her believe she saw someone else from across the road. Within a few minutes, Everlee saw Archer's carriage coming toward her. She inhaled heavily and exhaled slowly preparing to do what she was here for and that was to end what they had and begged him to still marry her sister. Archer exited the carriage quickly. Everlee stared at him sadly at how handsome and attractive he was and that she will have to let him go no matter how hard it is.

"I spotted your sister and your mother nearby, we have to go somewhere secret," Archer told Everlee as he took her by the hand and helped her into his carriage. The carriage quickly drove off.

this story is stereotyped: the handsome man who falls in love with the pretty girl and the so-called "ugly" girl, no one to love her. I would have preferred the reversed roles between Paris and Everlee. That Archer fall il love with Paris not by her beauty but by her qualities
