Paris's eyes were slowly open to a warm touch against her forehead. She saw it was Everlee wiping her forehead with a damp piece of white clothing.

"Are you okay?" Everlee inquired concerned.

"I'm okay now," Paris answered.

Paris tried to sit up.

"Please lay for a little while before getting up," Everlee told her.

The bedroom door opened, and Paris saw her mom and the family doctor, Dr. Douglas entering her room.

"Mom, you didn't have to call the doctor, I was just tired, and I didn't eat lunch nor breakfast this morning that's why I fainted," Paris told Mrs. Poppy.

"Let the doctor check to see if that's truly the cause," retorted Mrs. Poppy more interested in what the doctor as to say.

Paris and Mrs. Poppy left the room giving the doctor space to do his work.

"Are you feeling any pain?" Dr. Douglas inquired Paris as he opened his small black bag.

"Mom, I'll be going out for a while," Everlee informed Mrs. Poppy as she sipped her tea around the dining table, having her breakfast. "And where you're going to?" asked Mrs. Poppy curiously. "To the museum," retorted Everlee. Mrs. Poppy nodded. Everlee eyes slowly moved from her mother to the half-finished chamomile tea knowing she wasn't just going to the museum to look at paintings. She was hoping to see the handsome rich stranger she admired. "So, how long will you stay for?" inquired Mrs. Poppy. "I'm not sure, the beautiful painting of the museum makes it difficult for you to leave sometimes for they give you so much peace inside just looking at them," answered Everlee. Everlee's comment wasn't all a lie. She did love looking at paintings for what seemed like an hour but today she promised herself to wait in the museum until she luckily sees him again. "Well, try not to stay too long, I'm having a celebration party tonight at a restaurant within the largest hotel in Greenf

It has not been 3 hours since Everlee has been in the museum, and she had become tired of waiting on the handsome stranger that doesn't look like he'll show up at the museum anytime soon. Everlee began to argue inside anger at herself for why she thought he would show up at the museum again at all places. She began to leave the museum to find Paris, hoping her hair was finished, so, they could purchase a dress and return home. Everlee was sad that her plan to meet the handsome stranger didn't turn out how she wanted it to. Her eyes suddenly widen seeing the man she was dying to see entering the museum. Quickly, she walked over to the painting she paid attention to mostly that she could see it in her head whether she closed her eyes. The painting of the young happy family she admired and somehow wish it was her and the handsome stranger that was now here. She watched him sideways all dressed handsomely in black as always as if it's the only colour that he was interested in. Black did

"Ms. Everlee," Delilah called knocking on the door. "Please give me a sec," answered Everlee as she quickly dried herself and put on her nightwear jumping into her bed. "You may come in now," Everlee told the maid as she covered herself from her neck to her toe pretending as if her stomach still hurt. "Here is your chicken soup miss," Delilah placed the soup on the bedside table and began to return downstairs. "Delilah," Everlee called. Delilah stopped turning her attention to Everlee. "After I've consumed my chicken soup, I'll be going to bed, so please don't try to wake me nor check on me," Everlee informed her. "Yes miss," answered Delilah and left the room immediately. Everlee didn't like what she had said to the maid. It made her feel awful and quite rude, but she had to do it knowing her mom. Mrs. Poppy will instruct her to keep an eye on her and she didn't want her parents to know that she will be sneaking out of the house tonight. Everlee waited in bed anxiously to hea

"Will Everlee be coming down for her breakfast now?" Delilah asked Paris, placing down the meal she had prepared, Chamomile tea and toast bread with a spread of honey. "No, she's still sleeping," answered Paris. Paris took a big bite enjoying her delicious crunchy sweet toast. "You won't believe what disgraceful news I've just heard," Paris heard her mom entering the dining room. "What is it?" she asked frighteningly as the toast fell from her hand. Paris was now worried if the news her mom had heard was about her sister at the painting party yesterday. Mrs. Poppy sat around the table upset. Paris's eyes were glued to her eager to know what the news was she had heard. "Mrs. Velvet's daughter Veronica is pregnant, and she's not even married to the man as yet," Mrs. Poppy said disturbed by the news. "Oh," said Paris feeling very relieved it was not about Everlee. She knew if her mom had discovered that Everlee was pretending to be sick so she could get to another event with a ma

"Where is your sister Everlee? it's almost 4:30 pm and she's not here," complained Mrs. Poppy ready to leave to see Mr. Wealth "She must be on her way," answered Paris as she began to worry hoping she is. "That girl has been a disappointment from the day she runs off to New York City without our consent," Mr. Poppy too began to complain. "Daddy, please don't speak so ill about her, she's here to reconcile things just forgive her like mom as," said Paris. "I'll forgive her when she returns back to New York City," retorted Mr. Poppy grabbing his coat. Paris stared at him sadly wishing he could just forget what Everlee did years ago and accept her within his life again. "Where are you, Everlee?" Paris whispers softly. Paris knew exactly where her sister was. She was very happy for her but hoped she return in time, so she won't be late to see her fiancé' Archer. She hasn’t seen him from the day he had placed his ring on her finger. She wanted to see him so badly. "Mrs. Poppy, you c

The entire way back home Mrs. Poppy complained upset about how disrespectful Archer was kissing her daughter right in front of her when he wasn't even wedded to her. Paris ignored her, biting her bottom lip recollecting her first kiss repeatedly with Mr. Archer. "Mr. Jonathan was nothing like his son within his age, I don't think he's right for Paris, probably we should just cancel the arranged marriage," said Mr. Poppy. "Daddy no!" Paris retorted alarmed by what he had said. "I agree with you David," Mrs. Poppy said to her husband. "No, I love him, please don't do this to me," Paris begged not wanting them to cancel her wedding. "Well next time he kisses you again like that, I will surely cancel the wedding," complained Mrs. Poppy. Paris nodded sadly as she began to worry that Archer doesn't kiss her again in front of her parent nor much as touch her until they're wedded. I'll have to always keep my distance from him if I want to marry the man of my dreams, Paris thought sadly.

"I love this wedding dress mom," Paris stood staring into the mirror. "It looks beautiful on you," said Mrs. Poppy smiling happily that her daughter was finally going to get married. "I wish Everlee could see me in this dress," said Paris happily. Paris spun around loving her reflection in the mirror. She couldn't wait to walk down the aisle so Archer could see her in her wedding dress. "Go and take off the dress, tomorrow we'll come here to shop for more things for your wedding," Mrs. Poppy told Paris. Paris went to take off her beautiful white wedding gown and gave it to her mom to pay for it at the cashier. ***** "Where have you been all my life?" asked Archer as he touched a loose strand of Everlee's silky blonde hair twisting and twirling it within his hand playfully. "Waiting for you?" answered Everlee as she brought her lips to kiss him. "Stay with me, please, I'll miss you too much if you should leave," pleaded Archer. "I would stay with you if I could," retorted Ever
